So I placed an order in April for Brandi Rhodes who was in stock and was for months afterwards along side a bunch of preorders or back ordered stuff. I finally get the order today and no Brandi Rhodes even though I was charged and paid for it months ago. When I email customer service they tell me she’s out of stock and they refunded me 30 bucks with no other explanation or any real attempt at rectifying the situation. Now if I want the figure it’s on to eBay for 60 bucks. That’s really crappy service especially when I place big orders regularly. I thought when you preordered an item mixed with in stock items they set aside the in stock stuff and ship all at once when the last pre or back ordered item comes in. Am I wrong in thinking this? I don’t complain at pretty much anything in this forum at all through the years but I feel ringside really sucks with this situation.

Yes, there should still be stock left for your order, but I'm sure over 5 months or so there are various reasons as to why they may have run out. It does happen from time to time, which certainly sucks, including myself once. When it happened with me they packed a note in the box stating that they no longer had a figure in stock and had refunded the amount of it. That should've been done for you instead of just sending the order not in full, whoever handled the order would've had to have known it was being sent without Brandi.

I had this happen to me over Black Friday last year. I essentially put together an order for like $100 around one figure I wanted (everything was in-stock at the time). Ringside shipped the order, and then emailed me a full day after it had left them, and told me that one figure was out of stock, had been canceled, refunded, and the rest of the order is on the way. It's a scumbag move. They make the decision to do it this way because they just don't want to put you in a position to cancel the order.
Ringside gets the talking out of both sides of your mouth defense, all the time. If they're more expensive or can't do something that most would consider normal retail practice, "well, they're not Target or Walmart." If they're in a position to do better at something because they're a niche retailer that should have better customer service, "well, Target or Walmart would never do that." It's exhausting. But they have unique access to the product, especially with these AEW figures that don't have the retail presence the Mattel WWE line has in big box stores. So we either eat the sh*t sandwich when stuff like this happens or risk/hope getting them someplace else, unfortunately.

They have the exclusives so there’s that but I’m so pissed about this I’m not ordering anything else I can get somewhere else. Now it’s gonna cost me 60 bucks to get this damn figure. The lease they could do is give you a coupon or something like Walmart does amazingly. I deal with clients all the time and I bend over backwards to make sure they are happy with the company. If I didn’t say anything I would have just been charged and no figure. They say they were shorted the figure. It’s complete bullsh*t. The figure was still in stock for sale months after I placed the order. Someone just didn’t put it aside when I ordered them I waited months which is ridiculous that you pay and then sit on your hands until the last item comes in stock and then there is t one left to include in my order. Absolutely crappy customer service in this instance.

Same thing happened to me with the accessory pack. I was emailed and told that they were shorted and my pre-order was not held. I made a topic saying ringside screwed me to which an admin said I was not screwed and locked the topic, then literally the next day, surprise surprise, the accessory pack was back in stock and I got my order. Meanwhile the email told me it was not going to be in until months later.
As soon as an order is placed if an item is due in later than others the other stuff should be set aside in a bin with the customer's name and order number. This is basic online retail 101.

Exactly or they should start shipping what’s in stock to avoid screwing the customer!!!
