here's a random question.... is the Hall of Fame Series Jake a "WCW" version as well? I believe that Jake is from his rivalry with Rick Rude (when Rude tried to kiss Jake's wife and Jake de-pantsed Rude at one point).

These tights are specifically from his SNME match against Rick Rude on 10.25.1988. Interesting note, on the side of one of his legs is a rat in a robe (can be seen in the image below with Andre) - which is what Jake thinks of Rude (in kafabe). Same night he scared Andre with Damien, and gave him a "heart attack".

That rat in the robe is an amazing detail -- and amazing you pointed it out. So cool.
Don't you wish modern talent took that much time and care with their gear

Yes I do. It seemed as though, for a while, every wrestler came to the ring in trunks with a logo on the front and a t-shirt of theirs. It seemed like everyone was dressing like The Rock and Triple H.

I might be getting rid of the HOF Jake then, if I find the new chase. Don't really need 2 Jakes with gray tights, but I'd rather have a "WCW" version

Yep, that was great. Rick Rude was the master at that. I hope we get these tights one day: Yes I do. But I think the guys in the 80s and 90s had more say, unless they were part of a particular character that Vince or the WWF created.

Many love Rick Rude and what he did with all his airbrushed designs.

Legends line is hit and miss for me, but both of these Jakes are musts! 91/92 is my sentimental favorite era, and I'd buy just about anything from that specific time frame!

Yeah even if we just got Jake recently, at least they did a good job giving us a totally different era/time period. Good attire choices.

I would assume they would take a break, since at one point you had half of series 10 coming in and out, legends 11 coming, and pre orders for 12 all at the same time.

So, did the reveals yesterday of Series 14 actually make you more excited for this series as well? I don’t think we see these figures in our hands before Late January at the earliest…preorders PROBABLY by the end of the year…but they made me even more hyped for these
