This is the answer to the entire thread however. Ticket prices, especially now with the secondary market for tickets as it is, are pretty much a prime example of laissez-faire/free market economics. Whatever people are willing to pay, is what they can charge. I'd ramble on for a while more, but I'm well aware most people don't find economics that interesting. |

What a terrible take lol imagine using giving fans something they want to see as a negative in a poor attempt to try and be cool and use an insider term like mark despite the fact that you’re a mark yourself. Congrats lol I can't say I am a mark. I haven't bought a wrestling shirt in years. I don't even buy wrestling figures anymore. I am selling them off actually. But I am not really wrong. AEW sees the fans as marks. CM Punk has been gone for like 7 years or so, so fans will pay ridiculous money to see him in person now.
you’re confused. wwe sees their crowd as marks, as they think they can feed them any type of terrible show or character and think their fans should just eat it up like blind marks. AEW listens to its audience and accommodates it, showing that they value their fans. |

That's on you. And if you are happy doing that, all the power to ya! $500 for front row at a ppv ? Count me in, and that’s what those are. You’re aware WWE is high as hell on their front row seats too, right? |

I'm actually confused re-reading OP's post, perhaps he can shed light. Were both tickets purchased at original market value or on the secondary market? Being Canadian, the notion of going to a show has been a nonbo for like a year and a half now.
If they're both on the secondary market, then the second question becomes how close to each event was each one purchased. Not that the simple answer is still anything but "free market economics", but the value discrepancy significance is very much affected by those questions.
