I enjoyed the show as always
I’m glad Hangman is back and I’m glad he won but I did NOT like that Ladder Match. The concept can work where it’s a reverse rumble, the starting 2 guys have the advantage. But that needs to be demonstrated during the match. Too many times guys are climbing ladders and not going for the win…that’s just spots for the sake of spots.
Cornette will have a field day with that match but I’ll agree with him this time. There was no urgency to win the match. I also think ladder matches need to go back to just 1 ladder. It would make the match easier to organize. 1 ladder. All these ladders just make it unreasonable for guys to not be grabbing the title in 10 seconds
Hangman/ PAC spot on the ladder was insane.

This company does ring psychology so well, this was uncharacteristic of them. Anyway, glad Hangman’s back. |

It’s not a match designed around hurting your opponent, it’s designed around grabbing the prize. If you can grab it, like Andrade could and even Murder Hawk….why not just grab it? For sure. Pac seems to "hate" Orange Cassidy though. I could see a situation where he tries to kill him instead of grabbing the chip. Same thing with Moxley and Archer. Anger is a powerful motivator. It wasn't really a group of guys with vengeance on their minds though. Matt Hardy didn't really any kind of beef with anyone. If he had the chance to grab it I would expect him to. |

I liked tonight's show. The main takeaway was definitely the Hangman return which was great and I'm glad he came back at an appropriate time before the landscape changed too much against Kenny with Punk and Bryan's arrivals.
However I thought the opener was incredible, I liked that Serena Deeb kind of stuck it to Shida about not letting her get to 50 wins and have her moment, I like the intro of the TBS title even if I think the name is kind of lame...
Overall it was a good show. I felt some of the segments were kind of meh like the FTW guys, the Dan Lambert stuff, the Pinnacle Darby ambush, and the actual Darby match. I think this night was all about the opener and the main event though.

<3 the opener, Malakai vs. Dante coming soon, and Serena and Hangman winning (with the former officially going full heel). So over this Dan Lambert stuff though.
BTW the elephant in the room is that the TBS Championship is a much nicer looking belt then the Women's Championship.

I went into tonight's show expecting more than what we got being the second anniversary show.
Apparently Bobby Fish is now All Elite so that's cool. But at the same time, I feel he will just be wrestling on the YouTube shows.
The TBS Title is great for the women. But it looks better than the Women's Title. The AEW Women's Title just looks too small and plain.
Hangman Page was okay, but I really was hoping for someone new for that Joker card. Page winning almost seemed like it was already not needed because we all knew he was gonna get the title shot with Omega anyhow, did winning that poker chip really matter??
Is CM Punk ever gonna wrestle live on Dynamite or always on taped Rampage shows??
I still preferred AEW Dynamite over WWE Raw though.

Bob Fish is the best octogenarian on the roster, at the very least.
Also, if they don't pull the trigger on Hangman at Full Gear, just retcon the entire company and make Ruby Soho or Hook AEW World Champion.

Small detail, but it's a ladder match so don't have tables already set up at ringside. If you're going to use them at least put them under the ring.
Also if the Elite multi-man matches could follow any sort of normal tag rules, that would be great.

Just a quick comment as I’m watching the show after being there. The booing of that assclown Dan Lambert was so loud that we legitimately could not hear a word of what he said.
