I’ve learned to “accept” it. Mass produced products always equals quality issues.

Scuff marks are UNACCEPTABLE.
Stiff joints ... are actually perfectly fine. I collect Mythic Legions figures. They actually put a note in every package saying that joints are stiff from the factory. To remedy it (and to avoid a break), you can either place the figure in hot water, or use a hair dryer, then slowly move the joint back and forth to loosen it up. I think that's very cool they do that. All Mattel needs to do is put a message on the back of the package.

I’ve ran into issues quite a bit here lately. The biggest being legs at the thigh/hip being completely frozen or almost glued in place. I had to take a razor to separate the thigh and hip on my elite 91 RVD, had the exact same problem with legends 10 Beefcake.

Valaverse does the same "Hey sorry we don't know how to make proper figures, it's up to you to remedy it or else it'll break" note and it's still outlaw! Got the Top Picks Jeff Hardy yesterday and the forearm was stuck to the elbow joint, effectively making a double-jointed elbow only single jointed. Had to bust out the Exacto and fixed it, but there's no reason a consumer should have that problem in the firstplace.

One giant let down for me was the newest Hollywood Hulk Hogan the weight belt design is the absolute worst. They had the same design for the Ultimate nWo Hollywood and a few others unfortunately the weight belt looks horrible! Jakks did it right Storm Collectibles did it right Even Toybiz from the 90s did it right!
Also the skin tone is addressed on some of the hogan figures and is tan(seems pretty accurate) newest Hogan is pale?! Not to mention the torso choice made by Mattel…I’m not sure why Hogan got that torso?!
Also why do we always get a Hogan with the shirt rip in the front? I understand it’s an iconic Hogan thing to “rip the shirt” but I feel likes it’s milked alittle much when every cloth or rubber shirt we get for Hogan is cut down the middle! And screw the rubber shirts Mattel Stop making those….please and Never make another Scott Hall with a pony tail!
Also I read something about a “replacement arm” for anyone who bought the Ultimate Kane? How exactly would we go about getting that?!

Yeah something feels off with the new elite Austin Theory, either the heads too big or the torso is too small

i picked up a legends 13 jake that had black scuff marks all over the face in a sealed package BUT the paints apps were the best out of the other figures there. Like the eyes were the most centered, the mustache wasnt printed up the side of his cheek. So i bought it (the scuff marked one) gambling that i'd be able to use a magic eraser and get the black scuff crap off. And it worked lol
But ya i got so frustrated with Mattel, i decided that they are gonna fck stuff up and to just appreciate the gems. I was running out of space anyway. If Mattel doesn't wanna release a good, well designed, deco'd figure, i'll just not buy it or wait until they do in another 5 years.
It is a constant "serenity now" battle though

Pinned elbows > double-jointed elbows.

Only real issues I have are
Figures with knee sleeves instead of the small knee pads, knee pads with the open back
Gargano Syndrome (Gargano/Erik. Hurricane didn't bother me tbh)
Height
