Some of the best belt designs. WWF from 1985-1998 had my favorite designs (Winged Eagle, Classic IC, and Tag Titles).

Reggie Parks is the reason I have an obsession and collection of "Gold and Leather". This is from the thread titled, "What made you a Wrestling fan?" On Saturday nights, back in the 80s, I would sleep over one of my Uncles' or Aunts' houses maybe twice a month. Around 11:30 PM, on May 27, 1989, expecting to see Ben Stiller on SNL... I saw this... ...then I saw this... ...then I saw the Crown... ...the first time I ever cheered for the Heel... ...and finally, I saw these. That's all it took, and I was hooked. R.I.P. R.P.

I've never bought a belt but I can see why people want one from him. He's an interesting guy having been trained under Stu, was a wrestler himself and then turned to belt making. He deserves so much credit for his skills.

I remember during Bret's HOF speech him telling a story where Owen called up Stu pretending to be Reggie in a classic rib.He was saying all this sh** to em and Stu is like ''Reg, if ya wanted to try me, why didn’t ya try me?!?” then when he found it was Owen he's like ''the bastard Owen he got me'' LOL

One of the true unsung legends of wrestling. Reggie doesn’t get enough credit for the iconic belts that are so beloved today. It’s a shame what we have today compared to the belts Reggie created.
I’ll steal a great line from Heenan but with a modern twist: “Comparing Park’s belts to modern belts is like comparing ice cream to horse manure.”

I'm actually surprised he never got more acknowledgment from WWF/WWE. What little I had heard about him was from the Owen rib and years later seeing people on sites like this buying his replica belts and looking up the name and realizing it was the same guy.

I agree with Bret, the new belts look terrible. I don't know why they ever changed from the Reggie Parks designs of the WWF World, IC Championship, and Tag Team Titles - those belts just look so iconic. Those 3 designs, the Crumrine Big Gold and the NWA domed globe to me are the mount rushmore of championship belts.

Yep, these three WWF Belts and the Ric Flair Big Gold Belt would be my mount Rushmore, just classic designs when being a champion really meant something. I also liked the old NWA World Title, the WCW Replacement World Title, the WCW US Title (1990s version), the WWWF Title (1970s Version), the WWF Title (WM3 version) and the Million Dollar Championship Belt to round out my top 10.
