Just recently got my UE 10 John Cena, and not the biggest fan of the figure. It honestly feels like a slight step-back from the UE 5. Crazy considering the new butterfly joints on the UE 10, but the way they molded his torso makes him look awkwardly wide (especially with the shirt on). The neck peg is also longer and makes the heads sit high (a huge gap is left when looking at the figure from the side or behind).
I prefer the UE 5 as I think it’s a better sculpted figure (love it actually), but wanted to see if anyone else feels the same way or prefers the UE10

Neither. Not a fan of either era of the character. 10 i believe is from One Night Stand 2 which was a cool moment but mainly cuz of how much everyone hated him.

man both figs are great, UE5 is more special to me since is his return gear but UE10 turned out great as well.

Neither. Not a fan of either era of the character. 10 i believe is from One Night Stand 2 which was a cool moment but mainly cuz of how much everyone hated him. I think it's based on WM 22. The ECW ONS attire is slightly different, which is the one they should have went with, since it's a more iconic moment. |

Going with UE5 because it’s the more iconic attire and I don’t really care for butterfly joints. UE10 attire is cool too and glad they made it but only have room for one Cena from that era on my display.
I am surprised they released them so close together.

My UE5 has really loose toe joints and the head I like most is really loose and pops off so I had to swap it with another. Otherwise it’s a great figure. I’m not a big Cena fan but I’d say it’s his best figure.
I’m getting my UE10 in the mail tomorrow. I do like the attire on this one more but that’s purely subjective. The butterfly joints add more articulation but I think I they make the figure look worse visually.
I think it really boils down to what attire you like more and if you want the butterfly joints. They’re not extremely different.

10. The butterfly joints look better and less like he’s wearing a cardboard box for a torso. Don’t care about the attire because it’s Cena. Just needed one for the collection.

I’ve thought about buying the UE10, because it’s the gear he wore at WM22 & I was there, but I still think the UE5 is better.

The main head sits too low on the UE 5, plus he could have used the butterfly joints to do the pose he did at the Rumble. I wish they would have done the UE 10 attire first.

I went with UE10 because that era means more to me. I also love the butterfly joints, but I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

I have to buy one of them for my collection, but I’m torn. I like the butterfly shoulders more, but when I think of Cena I think of blue denim, not black. Thinking 10 will be the one I end up buying though.

I like UE 10 a little more. I dig the attire more and the butterfly joints add that extra oomph.
I get why people like UE 5: It's from his 2008 Rumble return and it's harder to come by (No release in retail), but I feel UE 10 is an improvement.

I said from the beginning that they shouldn't have chosen black and went with something more colorful. Why have both figures with the same color shirt.

Agreed UE5 head sits low, but the UE10 also sits too high (there’s a noticeable gap between the neck and head from behind). Seems like there’s a middle-ground between these neck-peg lengths that Mattel can hopefully nail next time. |

Why have both figures with the same color shirt. we’ve never gotten either two as elites We got all the stuff from the 2009 shirt in Elite 3 forward and then we got the 2005 draft, Wrestlemania 23 and a few 2002-4 Cena. Those were two major ones to do. Wrestlemania 22 and Royal Rumble 2008 are huge moments for Cena. Idk what is really missing color wise. The main ones missing are black tees like the 8 bit and chain gang assault battalion. We’re also missing the red Cenation eagle and black/green/yellow (we got a basic) from 08 but those two aren’t near as memorable as the other two we don’t have or the two used for UEs |

I wouldn’t mind a UE variant or elite version of ECW ONS 2006 Cena since UE 10 is so close to it. Would just be a few color swaps and perfect. Heck, make a future UE wave of both Cena and RVD from that night. Guarantee both would be sellers.
