There are a few guys like Edge and RVD who have gigantic gaps in their careers with no figures to represent them. RVD only has one elite until E91 comes out, and every figure he's had so far have all been 2013-2014. Edge has no elites to represent 2000 all the way through 2007 except for the WM22 gear he wore maybe five times at the most.
The biggest case of somebody like this in my mind (that isn't signed to AEW) is Kurt Angle, who has nothing from 2000-2002 except the milk truck street clothes, and nothing from 2004-2006 because they made a bunch of modern Angles instead. But Kurt isn't signed and turns down every deal they've been offering him.

I feel like one of my biggest wants that I've mentioned several times in threads like this is an ECW world champ Steve Corino. Hell, put him in an elite two pack with Dusty. It'd be a fun exclusive. You could give him some cloth accessories so he could be in the gear from the bull rope match but then have ring gear underneath. We only ever got jeans late 90s dusty from jakks and it wasn't great, mattel could do a great one

The good thing about RVD is that he’s basically looked the same his entire career, so that previous elite still fits any era. But it will be nice to see more figures of him, so I’m hoping his merchandise contract lasts a while. Edge is my favourite wrestler of all time, I’m definitely up for more classic figures of him. Ideally: WrestleMania 2000 (I guess a tag title or ladder accessory) WrestleMania X-Seven (with glasses and purple coat) King of the Ring 2001 (with trophy) SmackDown July 2002 (red tights, probably as a two-pack with Hogan) WrestleMania 21 (with plain Money in the Bank case and Edge logo Money in the Bank case) Unforgiven 2006 (with Rated R title) |

I’m truly bummed we only got a handful of Elites and some basics. |

I just got Elite 88 MVP, and man, they really need to make some earlier 2006-2010 attires for that guy. Sure, E88 is a great figure, but we've only gotten 2 Elite MVPs and they've both been black outfits, when the guy wore some of the craziest gettups ever. We used to chant "power ranger," remember? I'd love to get him in purple or red gear. Something more colorful.

Ken Shamrock. I like his only Mattel figure for what it is, but there's so much that can be done to improve it.
Blue attire that captures his days in The Corporation, include the IC title, add some stubble this time, and the biggest improvement in my opinion would be the added thickness that comes from the double jointed arm mold they're using for bigger arms. I absolutely hate the original HHH arms with the skinny bicep, so those new arms would go a long way to improving the figure's overall aesthetic.
Unfortunately, I imagine he's no longer signed to a merchandise deal and with the way WWE seems to ignore him, I don't see him getting another Mattel figure any time soon.

It's fairly obvious someone at Mattel isn't a fan of mid-2000s WWE. We're 10 years into the line and still don't have a single RA era HBK or a 2006 Edge. We never got an Evolution Batista or Flair. Shelton has been under contract for 5 years now and we never got a Flashback based on his earlier run before he was the Gold Standard. We never got a Christian and we got one Jericho. We haven't had a bald, unmasked Kane based on his 2004 run in 10 years. We have an Undertaker from his Big Evil years, but nothing from his later run when the Deadman came back. We still somehow only one one Rey from the era that was an exclusive. Hardly any Eddie's and no MVP's.
As far as I know, all of these guys are under contract besides Flair, Jericho, and Christian.

This has been said a million times on here but it seems like we may have new people who don't know this. Mattel does not have the rights to make people who work backstage. Producers, writers, trainers, etc. WWE has to sign them to a separate merch deal or legends deal before they will allow Mattel to make them. It's not that they won't make them, they can't make them
