Gotta agree, not sure what more would be wanted for it to be better. I compared the two pics and I think it has to do with the paint or coloring. The real road Dogg is super pale. Almost non existent eyebrows. Lighter eyes. I think the dark eyebrows and facial hair and tan give it features and a look I do not associate with road d-o double g. Everything else about it works for me. The face does not look right to me. I’ll give you the eyebrows, seeing that comparison definitely makes it stick out. Not something I ever would’ve noticed otherwise. The scan itself of his face definitely is good though.

Road Dogg doesn't look AS bad when looking at the real and figure photos together -- but I think he is way too thin in the figure...

I dont know why they just don’t mold on Road Dogg’s shirt. When was Road Dogg ever shirtless in his wrestling career? Yeah, that’s a big letdown for me. I guess they don’t have a suitable torso for it (the Hall of Champions one is way too thin/skintight) but I wish they’d just put an extra piece on for the shirt like they do with Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon. Although the APA shirt mold needs retooling it's perfect for the Roadie. They just keep cuttin corners on the Dogg.

Everyone whine and complains for years about not getting cloth goods and only getting molds. We start getting cloth goods and now everyone’s upset by that.
He never wore sleeves except during that invasion. This was a great was to stay in budget while also making it accurate. Just tuck the shirt into the pants

Road Dogg looks pretty decent. Might cut off his sleeves for a proper early NAO look. Now I just wish Billy matched (Unless his attire is early Outlaws too)
Mean Mark is a surprise. Considering this may very well be the only fig we get of him, I'll get one to buff up the WCW collection.
Chyna seems to be the weakest link of the set but she's by no means awful. I like the headscan better than the 2 pack at least.
Edge is the must have. Been waiting for this version of Edge forever and Mattel didn't disappoint. Spot on head, soft goods coat, I couldn't ask for more.
Overall a solid set. I'll likely get everyone but Edge and Mean Mark are priorities. Dogg and Chyna are lower but not by much.

Was hoping for a Stone Cold quality leather vest for Callous, that cheap piece of vinyl looks like it will tear right across the back if you don’t remove it extremely carefully.

Just tuck the shirt into the pants So you're bashing everyone but not reading what they're saying? No-one's criticising the DX army look. They're saying the cloth t-shirt doesn't go with the attire underneath. And because Mattel are trying to cater to both the army and in ring looks, it just doesn't work. And as collectors buying something at this price point, I agree with letting people have their say.

I think both scans are great, with the latter being superior. I think what might throw it off for some people is the tan skin and brownish hair. Road Dogg was pretty pale and his hair was leaning more towards a reddish-blonde color. I think the first scan was too small to be honest. I’ll still say this, I think this attire is a disappointment. I get that Mattel backed themselves into a corner, but I’d rather have a figure come out with detail and look inaccurate as opposed to having a plain attire. Also, as a side note... I wish Mattel would start glossing Edge’s flashback boots. Those things look way too flat. The glossed would make them pop. I’m all for doing it myself until I used a varnish on my elite 13 Edge that left them tacky.

Road Dogg should’ve had a shirt underneath like Hall of Champions and I’ve already complained about Edge elsewhere

It's funny how it all works. People stay on the WWE roster for so long these days, and with so many releases, there are only a handful of new characters to make in a year. What male stars were added to the Raw/Smackdown roster in the last year that didn't have a figure? I can think of these only:
Dominik Mysterio Damien Priest Reggie Omos Jaxson Ryker A couple of Retribution jobbers
The rest of them haven't been around long enough to have a release yet. Everyone in the main event scene already has multiple releases.
At least by signing more legends, there would be more first time in the line figures. I would think kids would rather have new characters as opposed to 12 Seth Rollins figures.

The biggest issue to me is that he should have had a second hat (even just rereleasing the HOC one). A second shirt with no sleeves would have been great, but the sleeves on the regular DX shirt can just be pushed up the arm.

I'm really liking that Mean Mark figure but how weird would it be if I only had him and no Undertaker figures in my collection lol.

If you're just displaying your figures on a shelf or something and don't want to risk fraying threads or anything like that, the sleeves on the soft goods shirts are really easy to tuck in to the shoulders. I did it with the weird fringe cut sleeves on the Legends Macho Man and I really like how it turned out. I tucked the bottom of the shirt up into it as well to better display the trunks on this one, and I feel like that'd work on Road Dogg for the tucked in look he wore through a lot of his career. Damn, now I wanna get him and Gunn to try this. Bet it'd look great.

Of all the s**t I've never tried I don't have a lot of soft goods shirts, and I don't use many of the ones I do, but I really wanted the combination of the chase figure's attire and the purple shirt on my Savage shelf, as it was a pair of looks I didn't have represented there. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. If a second shirt isn't in the budget for the Road Dogg, I think this will work just fine. If I get Gunn, I won't be displaying him with a shirt, so maybe I could try both (tuck and cut) and see what works better.
