they’re doing Chief Jay Strongbow, Zodiac and Goon before a 2002-2007 Rey Mysterio I guess to Mattel irrelevant 70s-90s characters are more important to do than probably a top 3 most marketable wrestler of all time during his prime They just made a 2007 Rey Mysterio
an elite of his regular pants look yk what I’m talking ab not this silver bs same with the Flash figure

Or “your favorite 70s jobber isn’t as marketable as you think.” they’re doing Chief Jay Strongbow, Zodiac and Goon before a 2002-2007 Rey Mysterio False. I have/had several Mattel Rey Mysterio figures based on 2002-2007. One of the first Mattel WWE figures was a WrestleMania 22 Rey. One of the first Mattel Ringside Exclusives (possibly THE first) was a WrestleMania 20 Rey. They’ve done a figure of his WWE debut. They’ve done a figure of his Royal Rumble win. Hell, they did a Rey Mysterio box set where three or four of the figures were based on 2002-2007.

There are few things on this earth that are less “it” than DX doing a minstrel version of the Nation… Glad to see you think it would be dope as hell too. Almost as dope as Hamilton but not quite as dope though.

You know he was talking about an elite figure, and we've not had anything in the past 10 years that wasn't a harder to get online exclusive. We need an elite 2002-2006 Rey in the regular elite line or the Legends line or an offshoot that is readily available to the masses. We're talking about a guy who has had hundreds of looks that could easily translate into figure form, that Mattel has had under a contract for about 8-9 of their 12 years with WWE, and they haven't released an iconic 2002-2007 elite Rey that isn't a "special, one/off look" or an exclusive from over 10 years ago. It's long overdue and we're only just getting a 2004-5 Batista (UE) and 2001 RVD. So things do happen. But why we don't have a Rey as such is baffling.

They’ve never made a John Cena figure. All the John Cena figures they’ve made don’t count because none of them were in the specific t-shirt I wanted, with the FlexForce style jumper action feature. But in reality, they have made plenty of John Cena figures, and plenty of Rey Mysterio figures. And plenty of Batista figures from whatever arbitrary dates you’ve decided are the ones that count.

Will always love the conspiracy theories about because certain figures get made it keeps others from getting what they want. Like a Rey Mysterio figure would never be one of those store exclusives.

It may not be the most desired, but it’s still new legends

Out of the 2 of us, you reaching hard to justify your stance is hilarious. But snarks gotta snark, right? You know damn well what he was talking about and the point still stands.

ala verga 2006-2008 RA Edge. Won't mean I won't buy these; because these are awesome. But; wtf does it take to get RA figures.

So which Edge is the chase? Some places are saying the red (which is what I thought) but now some places are saying the white is.

It’s not about just Rey
It’s about the lack of RA era figures in comparison to all other eras and companies (besides ECW they lackin in that department too but it’s not Mattel fault)
Look at Edge, Undertaker, Mysterio, MVP, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, JBL
All can be done and aren’t really tapped into

I’m excited and surprised for Mean Mark. I’ll probably get the whole set. The lack of RA figures is surprising but who is everyone wanting the most?

Obviously Mean Mark is a more classic character, but this series is a bit recent-heavy. It's not bad, but it feels different than all the other series so far. Maybe they just want to get the DX Army figs in ASAP.
