Elite 89 Damien Priest. All the extra sculpting on the pants could have easily just been painted on, but mattel went the extra mile, and it looks amazing Head sculpt and attire choice really makes the figure stand out as well. Forgot about priest, very unique mold and aced the scan. I also wanna give a runner up award to Elite 88 Rey Mysterio, probably my favorite Rey Rey of the modern era. They really got the face/mask thing down, the colors of his gear pop and the overall design is sick.

For someone who has been begging for WM12 Warrior forever, I’m going to have to go with that. Glad we finally got it and feel that it was executed perfectly.

Also, totally spaced, but Greg Valentine is another that comes to mind. One of the rare FTITLs that we’ve gotten, a great headscan and the soft goods robe with the shin guard? If they’d given him a tag belt to match Brutus it would have been over the top good but otherwise a great surprise figure. I’ll also mention UE Hollywood Hogan, UE Flair, E87 Warlord, Legends Brutus was even a surprise for me. Scan is dead on accurate and someone I ordered just to have but ended up opening him. Fairly surprised at nobody mentioned L10 DDP. Figure wasn’t for me but was sought after and was pretty accurate looking. I’ll hold out until they do an elite of the jeans taped ribs long haired look

Gotta give it to UE Hogan if he qualifies?
If he doesn't it's SS 996 Bret. Have wanted that attire for a long while & Mattel did great

It's my first Mattel Bret, and the face doesn't hit nearly as bad in person. The forehead is weird, but the glasses didn't fit over the eyes well on mine anyway, so I put them on his forehead like he used to and it looks great.

The 4 Ultimate sets for 2021 are: 7: Hogan, Fiend 8: Macho, Edge 9: Austin, Flair 10: Rock, Cena
The only other official Ultimate of 2021 is SDCC Sarge.
Not sure what FanTakeover Hardy and Hogan are considered.
The 2021 Elite line goes from 80-88. 89 is the start of 2022 figures.

UE Flair, RSC Warrior, SS Hogan and SS Hart for me. I like Mania Chyna with Rocco quite a bit too.

E81 not 80 and Hogan and Hardy were originally slated for end of September when pre orders went up so I count them 2021

With that being the case my top figures for 2021 would be: 1. UE7 - Hollywood Hogan 2. E82 - Jerry “King” Lawler 3. UE9 - Stone Cold Steve Austin 4. L12 - Kevin Nash 5. UE9 - Ric Flair/ RSC - Ultimate Warrior
