Its ironic that they keep stating budget cuts, but with some of the names they release and how they treat them before hand, it's like they hate money.

Terrible to lose the jobs but always good to see the herd thinning when they keep buying ppl up to not use them. I didn't discover dirt sheets and result sites until I was about 14 or 15 y/o and so I grew up wondering each week through the Attitude Era whether it was taped or live. Wouldnt trade trade the experience for the world. My question is to those who were online during the latter AE years. What was it like reading dirt sheets back then when you knew somebody was coming to WWF/WWE and you knew they were showing up with definitive plans? If there was even dirt sheets back then. Idk. I guess Im just asking if it was different bc back then ppl showed up with feuds or gimmicks and now it seems that theres good technical wrestlers who are signed every day with zero direction or character to make them stand out from their peers.

I am done collecting main roster WWE figs for good. There is just no point if this is gonna keep happening. Then more creatively exhausted folk like Kevin Owens etc will leave. More talent will keep getting released. Why should we invest time as fans into talent who probably aren't gonna be there in 6 months to a year.

I just dont know what WWE is doing about the future of their brand. Roman and Seth have already been there for 10 years, AJ and Finn are like 40, even Drew is 36. Like there's no one in NXT 2.0 that stands out as "The Guy" of the future. Maybe Bron Breaker but that feels like years away. They keep releasing all of these guys and I really feel like they're about to short change themselves.

Most surprised by Keith Lee... Did not expect him to go.
Also sucks that Harry Smith never really got a chance to make an actual return.

It seems like WWE (Vince)…and this is scary…thinks that WWE’s selling point is…WWE…The Brand…despite a lot of evidence to the contrary, this is where we are at. In Vince and his yes men’s minds…fans aren’t going to see their favorite wrestlers…or at least they don’t believe that that’s the main point..,they think people are going to see WWE and the wrestlers are secondary. This is a really messed up vision to have, but more and more, I think this is Vince’s mindset right now…and it’s scary if I’m even remotely right.

I hate that people lose their job but all this is ultimately inevitable regardless of how much money WWE is making. Through the 80s and 90s their roster sat at around 50-75 active wrestlers & manager...Even after all the releases this year they have 100+

WWE had one show in the 80s and 90s. Now they have exclusive rosters for Raw, SD, NXT, NXT UK and still need to produce 205 live, Main Event, etc.. it def feels like there's a reason why the roster is way more inflated today then it was in the 80s and 90s.

I think Scarlett could be a star. Any promotion would be smart to grab her.

In just a few years the entire WWE roster will be nothing but 35+ year olds for the most part. It can't and won't happen, but I'd love to see HHH quit and start his own promotion.

WWE still uses the same small handful of names every week.

They stripped everything that made Keith Lee popular in NXT when he moved to the main roster. And he was still kinda making it work. After he returned from his health problems, he was just starting out his new Bearcat gimmick. I remember being at Survivor Series 2019 and that arena exploded when he hit the Spirit Bomb.
It would be an understatement saying that I'm mad about Keith Lee

It’s terrible to say about a comport I use to love watching and entertained me through my childhood, but I want to see this fail now. They show they have no regard for preformers and as others have said, don’t have the 🥜 (probably cause Vince is choking on them) to say that they just don’t need the talent anymore… they have to say “budget cuts” 🙄 give us a break, don’t insult the viewers intelligence with that B.S. simply lining their own pockets (McMahon and his yes men)

the only reason jax stayed for as long as she did is due to her connections to the rock. Horrible and worst of all a dangerous wrestler

So I guess Vince is going to continue running the same 10 performers he does every week to fill his shows. Same old rematches, same old stories.
