This nearly took Jerichos life if Hennig had not have been there. Chris has refused to ever watch the clip back Jericho flip flops on this story. He recently said on Twitter that Hennig was always supposed to get his knees up. |

Wasn't there an early WWF PPV where he botched the lionsault? I remember fans making light of it and him taking to the internet in his usual manner, although it was years before he really broke out the angry character he plays online.

I think that was No Mercy 02 where he did the lionsault & the rope broke. He had blown a gasket at online fans for how poorly they perceived his King of the Ring 2002 match with RVD |
