Punk vs Kingston and Omega/Page were MOTN and proof that getting a crowd invested in a story and characters will always be more important than how many flips or table spots you can do in a match.

Tonight finally solidified me as a Hangman Page fan, but they really screwed up by making Bryan first challenger, because I'll always love Bryan more and he still has the bigger fanbase.

This is a new era in AEW, the Adam Page Era.

Something fishy is going to have to happen. If you let Danielson win, it ruins Page's "story". If you let Page win, it makes Danielson null and void and he'll be forced to do some program with someone else over some made up BS like a beat down he'd receive.

Out of all the talent in ROH, they went with Lethal.
You literally have Gresham and Zayne right there.

Now that Adam Page is the World Champion, give him a few months reign as World Champion and the next in line should be MJF after Bryan.

So happy made the choice of going to Full Gear last night over the George Strait concert.MJF Vs Allin was probably the best match I've ever seen live and argue one if not the best opening match in pro wrestling history, right in the mix of MOTY and sure fire top ten match of the year.Falls Count Anywhere was all really good and the main event was a classic as well.
As far as where they go from here think you have to have Page beat Bryan clean as that will hopefully cement him as a top talent and draw beating Omega & Bryan in back to back high profile match ups.Think they'll build Page Vs MJF for the next PPV with MJF taking the title.
As far as where Omega goes think he'll turn face with the Bucks & Cole kicking him out of the Elite and ending the group.Moving forward as just the Super Kliq or Mount Rushmore one Kevin Owens makes the jump.See Omega feuding with Cole,Bucks and possibly Owens for and extend time and being the angle that might bring in Ibushi or Okada to help Omega out.

Some of you are acting like they're only allowed one ROH wrestler, lol.

Or pointing out that they signed a dude past his prime with numerous allegations against him.

I'm far from a huge Lethal fan. But the guy is 36 - typically right around early prime years for many wrestlers - and I don't think ROH's product has done him any favors in shining him up. He's someone who I thought would be on the AEW short list initially, so let's see what happens. They've definitely rehabbed less talented wrestlers.
I haven't had a chance to watch the PPV yet, but seeing Hangman's story play out has been amazing. The commitment to long term, multi-year story telling has been absolutely amazing to see play out.

Was anyone else annoyed that Nick/Matt (whichever took the Conchairto from Jungle Boy) came out at the end of the show to be "involved" in the Page - Omega match? He's face down on a chair, and then gets a baseball swing to the head with the other chair, crushing his head between 2 steel chairs....................... And then an hour and a half later he's walking out to the ring.
Why?
Of all the moves they have guys just get up from that look deadly (Canadian Destroyer for instance) why add the Conchairto to that list too? He could have been off TV this week because he was suffering the affects of getting his head crushed between 2 chairs and it would have made sense. But they decide instead that he won't even sell it until the end of the show.
Adam Cole could have taken the Conchairto and been hurt if they needed the Bucks at ringside for the end of the World Title match. Having a guy who should be half dead coming to the ring where he might get attacked and beat up again made absolutely no sense.

To be fair, it was WWE that "taught" us to think the conchairto is some insane move. It's just a brutal chair shot.

Did anyone else feel the blood on Adam Cole and CM Punk didn't look real??
I feel like it looked like bright red paint. And the way it was all over Adam Cole's forehead and then stopped running by the end of the match like it looked like war paint was wearing off.
I mean, if they both were real, then cool, but it just looked different to me.
