What would the state of women's wrestling be like today if Stephanie McMahon wasn't who she is? What if she was never born or, what if she wasn't even in the industry, what if she wasn't married to HHH, what if she didn't work for WWE?
What would the landscape look like?

I honestly don't think the landscape looks that good right now for women's wrestling compared to 2018 early 2019 when Ronda Rousey was in the company.
We had women only PPV events, we had excitement for the women's Royal Rumble, MITB, and Elimination Chamber matches. We got excited over the creation of the WWE Women's Tag Titles. But now?? Meh. Not really that exciting for any of that anymore.

The significant thing is that Triple H wouldn’t have married into the family, wouldn’t have taken over NXT and the womens division becoming a focal point within the company. Triple H gave us the Four Horsewomen who have become four of the biggest stars in the industry, regardless how some people on the internet might think of them. I don’t agree with your baseless claims in the pst that Stephanie made Triple H focus on womens wrestling, but without him marrying Stephanie it wouldn’t be as big as it is within the company.

I don't think it would be much different, but then again 20 years ago the womens matches in WWE were bra and pantie and lingerie matches so I'm glad we've at least progressed to that point that we get to see proper wrestling matches. That sounds so stupid to say.

Literally zero difference. Really? Without Steph's influence you think there would have been the all female PPV? You think women would get main event spots?

Literally zero difference. Really? Without Steph's influence you think there would have been the all female PPV? You think women would get main event spots? Honestly? Yeah. I think Steph was more just the figurehead behind what the market demanded at the time more than anything else. I don't even mean that to disparage anything she may or may not have done for women's wrestling, but if it wasn't Steph, it likely just would have been someone else. Obviously butterfly effect and all that jazz, but in this scenario we kind of have to assume "all else equal" or else the entire topic falls apart and maybe WW3 ended humanity if Steph wasn't born lol. Yeah you need people who can envision creating a world where the market will demand that sort of thing, but that market has been created far outside of wrestling, and just sort of seeped its way into the wrestling world. We've seen similar trends in advocating for equal opportunity/pay in other sports, the WNBA is getting more and more coverage, it's a constant battle for the WTA to get the same coverage and respect as the ATP (Tennis for anyone who isn't familiar with those acronyms btw). Tennis actually follows a very similar line as the Rousey path in America. When Serena was the queen of everything, her market presence demanded more coverage for women's tennis, now that she's out of the picture, it's declined a bit. Just like Rousey in WWE. Doesn't mean the other women aren't talented, just the way its trending. I really don't mean any of this to crap on Steph, just that the advances of women's wrestling in America (because we know the situation overseas is vastly different and has been for a hell of a lot longer) really would likely have happened no matter what.

I don’t see how anyone can look at wwe clapping their hands on their own back during their women’s movement every step of the way and not think the central agenda of it was to capitalize on popular female movements happening in media and society.
try telling all those women, from wendi richter to aj lee, that a McMahon benefitted women’s wrestling.

The real question should be "How much more advanced could women's wrestling be if the Fabulous Moolah was never born". Then we've got a discussion. That pilon of a human set back women's wrestling in America like 50 years.

I find it hard to believe Vince and his stooges would've let the movement overtake the ratings that were Jerry Lawler yelling PUPPIES like some sort of moron. ECW was trashy, WCW had the Nitro Girls, etc. There is zero evidence the same sort of movement would have happened in WWE that we see now, but we do have evidence Steph had her hand in it.

I mean this is from Steph before SS on the brand ...
It is her baby, and I'd bert what drives her personally.

Literally zero difference. Bingo. If women’s sports around the world hadn’t taken off the way they had with Ronda in MMA, the uptick in Women’s soccer, Women’s basketball, Olympics, etc… we’d still be having bra and panty matches to this day. As with most things, WWE saw the world taking notice/reacting to something and jumped on the bandwagon. Steph was the perfect person to put at the front of that change for obvious reasons.

Her main thing when she took charge of branding was about making the WWE more appealing to girls and women. She’s behind that movement, and there are quite a few things that came together for that to happen -Total Divas, NXT, Rousey, etc. Without her pushing the central idea of elevating the women, it’s very possible that those things don’t all fall into place.
