Not going to get in on the debate, last one was locked, so no point, but a word from ringside regarding those who pre-ordered would be appreciated considering we've been charged for said figure. (Unless I missed it somewhere??)

 Is this what people call controversial these days? No, that's the Japanese national flag, with which nobody is taking umbrage. The issue at hand is the Rising Sun Flag, which is problematic in certain parts of Asia that suffered greatly at the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army. It's a legitimate response to the design being appropriated for entertainment purposes, and WF has already gone around the block on this like, seven times in the past week. This is a good read that explores a bit of where the problem arises from.Yeah, Nanking happened under that flag. Read about Nanking and it will turn you pale. |
