I’d like to see Stacy “the Kat” Carter, Terri Runnels, Luna Vachon, Bull Nakano, Madusa, Bertha Faye, Jacqueline.

I really have to wonder how well these are going to sell. Again, I want to see them succeed. Is there really a big BCA market out there right now? I’m nostalgic for them but can’t say I have a desire to go back and collect a lot of them.

I’m nostalgic for them but can’t say I have a desire to go back and collect a lot of them. I only ever owned a few BCA’s in my lifetime, but with the announcement of the line it made me want to go back and buy the WWF ones. I can’t be the only one starting a collection in anticipation of the Chella line. Same with the Wrestling Megastars line. I LOVE Hasbro’s, even though they were well before my time, but collecting them MOC is insanely expensive. I didn’t get into the Mattel Retro’s because I didn’t like them in all honesty, so when I decided to start the Chella line, I completely fell in love with them. I’m even starting on the AEW LJN figures going forward. Again, LJN’s we’re before I was born, but I’ve really loved this past year supporting small(er) companies as well as Mattel and I just love the fact that we have so many choices now.

I imagine there's more of a market for these than there are Bend Ems I would say so, but it seems the Bend 'Ems popularity is showing lately with the Major Pod episode and the amount of guys I see posting them on Twitter. Plus, the Major Bendies have done really well. We really are living through a time of the niche market being so popular.

Do you not think though that that's a false market created by the Major Pod to drum up interest with the release of their figures?

Do you not think though that that's a false market created by the Major Pod to drum up interest with the release of their figures? You could say that. But if you look at it with the view that if 100 people buy the Major Bendies and 20 of them decide they want to go buy older ones then it drums up interest in the market for the line, if that makes sense.

But then you could also argue that the Pod pushes BCAs alot through FWF.
Cardona is completlist (or near) I'm sure.

Yup, they promote AEW & Mattel too so I don’t think you can say that their influence on one particular line over another is greater, it just gets outside eyeballs looking at the product. Thus creating more collectors in the figure game 😊

No question that the BCA’s are more popular than Bend Em’s. But without knowing price point or final quality, or lineup and so on…it makes me curious to see how they do. That is my interest in business speaking but also as a toy fan. I had more BCA figures than any other line so I was DEFINITELY a fan. Those first three series were absolutely incredible. Well, not the repaints but the rest of it for sure!

I feel like major bendies would be far cheaper to develop as a line than the bone crunchers, and I doubt they have to sell as many to be lucrative.

I’m nostalgic for them but can’t say I have a desire to go back and collect a lot of them. I don’t think anyone knows. It’s kind of the blind leading the blind, so to speak. Prior to the pandemic, there wasn’t really a market for BCAs. Not enough to sustain an entire line of figures at $40 a pop. There’s more interest now in certain figures of that era, but I wouldn’t say it’s widespread. If the success of the line is dependent on selling through completely, that’s where I’d be a little concerned. But with Chella having a proven track record and FC being as committed to this as anything they’ve ever done, I believe that they will do what they can to make it work. May take some convincing to get folks onboard, especially if they haven’t bought a BCA figure in years, but that’s where the rest of us who do plan on collecting BCWs can do our part to help. Get the word out, encourage others to do the same. Be excited for the possibilities. Who knows if we’ll ever have the chance to do this again.

There’s probably a demand for BCAs. They’re about 25 years old now so a lot of the kids that got into wrestling during the Attitude Era should be getting into that nostalgic phase of their life. These woulda been the toys they were first introduced to. Now will most know about this line? Probably not, but if Mattel or Jazwares started making BCAs, then it probably would be a hit. I personally would like to see them more than Hasbros or LJNs.

I'm smack dab in the middle of Hasbros and BCAs. I had tons of Hasbros between the ages of like 5 to 7, and got back in with the BCAs around 12 or 13. BCAs are easily my favorite "childhood" line. I remember certain Hasbros I know I had for certain, but I could easily go through most of the BCA line and every weird sub-series they had and tell you whether or not I had a specific figures. This is the most draw a "retro" line has had for me.

Well, not the repaints but the rest of it for sure! Price point is looking to be around $40 plus shipping! Quality - these are going to fit right in with anything you used to own! I've seen the prototypes (Clark and Meanie prototype images are dropping Thursday) and they are spectacular. Lineup of series 1 is Blue Meanie, Bryan Clark, Ultimo Dragon & Sonny Onoo (Two Pack), Duane Gill, and one more yet-to-be announced name! I feel like major bendies would be far cheaper to develop as a line than the bone crunchers, and I doubt they have to sell as many to be lucrative. I can't speak to everyone else's toy line and won't, but from our perspective with BCW's you have to have a large minimum quantity to make it worth your investment. I would have to imagine with the major bendies, most of those molds will only be used one time, so their costs are probably very high. I commend everything they're doing with their line, I love it personally. As I said above, Bryan Clark and The Blue Meanie prototype images are dropping Thursday. Should be a fun day!

That’s incredible! And no doubt will fit in with the original BCAs. Beyond impressive they have provided this product! All in on this! Love how they have made the shorts unique, and the colours although simple pop and are very effective. The way the figure can be posed is awesome. The face sculp is spot on!
