Man that Macho Man looks absolutely awesome! Totally matches the style of the BCA figures. This line is filling those gaps really well.

Not a fan of Macho having a tan. I think these should match the originals as closely as possible, most of which were pale. Even Meanie was too tanned.

The difficulty with that is the materials are not the same anyway, so the figures will never truly be BCAs as we knew them. What we saw previewed with Meanie and Clark is an attempt to improve upon the BCA skin tone, and I’m fully in support of that. To be honest with you, I wish Meanie had more color. Clark I was skeptical of until I had it in hand and realized how much I’d always wanted a BCA with that level of tan. I don’t want them to revert back to a ghostly pale complexion.

I just want them to look like they fit in with the BCAs when you look at them on a shelf. These skin tones aren’t going to allow for that to be the case.

I want everyone to be on board with what we're doing, especially if you're a huge fan of the BCA style like us. But I must respectfully disagree. Here's two iconic BCA figures with nice tans. If they were pale they wouldn't have looked quite right. If I recall correctly, the BCA Warrior was changed from a pale skin tone to his tan self before final release!

It was probably always going to be that tan. The prototype looks like it has a yellowish-hue because of it being painted resin.

Those are two I happen not to have, so they didn’t come to mind. 😂

Will series 2 offer Glacier, Jeff Jarrett, and Mike Chioda? Any chance of other names being revealed soon?
If they're doing a Jeff Jarrett, could they also do Attitude Era figures of guys like The Hardys/Edge & Christian/Billy Gunn/Chris Jericho/Dustin Rhodes (perhaps not as Goldust but maybe just as old school Dustin Rhodes), Paul Wight (would love a proper looking Big Show), Ric Flair, and Sting or is Double J an exception?
I'd also love rookie/indy versions of Brian Danielson, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, etc.

I'd also love rookie/indy versions of Brian Danielson, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, etc. So far, all that’s been announced for Series 2 is Glacier, two versions of Jeff Jarrett (1997 & 1999), and Referee Mike Chioda. Series 1 is finishing up soon, and hopefully will ship out within the next couple of months. Once that happens, I think Series 2 won’t be that far behind. Unfortunately, most of the names you listed are under contract to AEW and are unlikely to happen anytime soon. The timing for Jarrett worked out just so for FC to go after him, but if he had started sooner with AEW, I’m not sure he’d be available either. He’s definitely the exception to the rule. My opinion is that the focus should always be on mid-to-late ‘90s characters. Whether it’s WWF, WCW, ECW, or wherever, keep it consistent so that collectors know what’s on the table and what isn’t.

100% need to focus on that late 90s line up.
Otherwise this just won't work imo.

Looking forward to these being released, but does anyone know yet whether they will have UK/EU stockists or are they only available direct from FC?

This pic of BCA Bulldog next to the upcoming BCW Savage was recently shared by the Major WF Pod across their socials:

Based upon this photo, Savage looks excellent. BCA's are what got me into figure collecting in the late '90's and this figure looks spot on.

Yeah, it’s a faithful tribute to the BCA figure sculpts of old. I really love the larger arms, reminiscent of a Series 6 HHH. The one area where BCWs noticeably differ is in the size of the feet. While some may view that as a negative, it’s actually a good thing if you remember how wonky BCAs were at standing upright. FC’s Meanie and Clark have such improved stability, and I wouldn’t mind if FC continued with this design “flaw.”

BCW update from FC via email: “Bone Crushing Wrestlers Series 1 figures are still in final production! Like the Blue Meanie and Bryan Clark, we really think these will be worth the wait! Our goal with all our products is to put out something you will love and authentic to the past! Check out the painted production samples of Sonny Onoo & Ultimo Dragon!”
