Anybody listen to Bruce’s podcast?

I listen to the odd tidbit on YouTube if the subject interests me enough. Same with Cornette and the major pod. I don’t have the patience to sit through the entire podcasts unless the subject is super interesting

I used to listen and enjoy it but Conrad really came off as an annoying, condescending pr*ck and I eventually stopped. I’ve actually unsubscribed to most wrestling podcasts I used to listen to because I really can’t be arsed for all the b*tchiness. But yeah, the older episodes of Something To Wrestle With prior to him rejoining WWE were entertaining AF.

I gave the bischoff one a go because I’m a wcw mark, but I can’t do Bruce and if I could go a whole lifetime without having to hear Conrad shill mortgages I’d be a happy man

I don’t pay much attention to the current WWE product, as it really doesn’t interest me anymore, so I’m totally fine with the Not speaking on anything current. I do agree that prior to Bruce going back to WWE he was way more funny and over the top. I enjoy earlier episodes far more. I still listen regularly to his and Eric’s podcast while I’m at work, helps pass the time as I work on fiber optic cabling outdoor. The adds sometimes get to be a bit much, but I can look past that for the entertainment to help pass my time at work.

I listened to the early Conrad shows back in 15/16 so I was kinda preconditioned to dealing with him and he wears on me from time to time but I have listened to most of the Bruce, Eric and JR shows. Got into My World recently

I have about an hour round trip commute and listen to the shows when I grill/smoke and cut the yard and stuff so I can blow through some shows quickly.

The 15 second FF on Spotify really helps out with the ads. Conrad can be a brat at times but I think he gets the most into interesting stuff and knows when they’re feeding him bullsht and that’s the most compelling aspect to me

I gotta get this out of the way first: You wouldn't believe his bulls**t perspective on how Lita left the company at Survivor Series 2006 on the latest episode. So unbelievable to hear him talk about how it wasn't disrespectful, etc. when its out there that Lita was openly unhappy with the company and she felt that this was a way for WWE to humiliate her on the way out. Segment totally sucked but Bruce had no problem puckering up for it.

I am surprised to see so many people dislike Conrad. I always appreciate the work he puts into shows. He's got an iron will for dealing with this cast of characters he does shows with.

I usually always listen to Bruce's shows but he really has been horrible about towing a company line lately. Literally any time they talk about something that fans didn't like he just jumps on the defensive, even when the idea flat out sucked. He also immediately goes on the defensive whenever something that Meltzer wrote comes up, even when its long been known to be true or its just a fact. It is getting more difficult for me to enjoy the Prichard show. 

I do love the Bischoff show and the JR shows, though. I'd have to say the new Jeff Jarrett pod is my favorite of the bunch. He gives such a huge insight to how TNA worked that just has never been shared before and it is so interesting. I always feel like Jarrett is honest and takes his licks with a smile. Really a good show.

I listen somewhat to the Tony Schivone show because its still really funny but I sometimes feel like they sort of drained this show for what its worth. It maybe has overstayed its welcome. I used to listen weekly from when it first began in January 2017 up until the beginning of 2021 but its pretty uninteresting now.

The Angle show can be rough because they seem to just talk about a one month span between shows, so they talk about the same things over and over again. Same with much of the Arn show. They seem to cover the monthly WWE PPVs that are having their ten and five year anniversaries, and there's just not much on the bone to discuss when they're only going in one month increments.

I am someone who has been a supporter of all of the Conrad shows since their first episode. I'd say that all of the shows have already passed their best episodes but they are still really fun to listen to on long drives, doing chores around the house, at work, etc. Still download 5 of the shows weekly and usually listen to them all within a day or two.

On the other hand, the PPV specific shows are like 3/4 not even about the PPV itself anymore. If there is a 2 hour show, over an hour of it is about the company at the time, characters being built, people leaving the company, backstage drama, location of the event, etc. That is typically what I like to hear about anyways. So I typically end up liking the PPV specific shows more from Bruce, JR and Jarrett these days. 

I really try not to take my listening of Something to Wrestle With that seriously. It's entertainment during the time I spend in my car. It has absolutely changed since Bruce went back to the WWE but I can't really blame him for that. I really enjoy when he destroys Meltzer and his stupid gossip. I do wish Conrad challenged him a little more on some of the questionable booking decisions, I feel like he lets Bruce off the hook too much.

But in the end these are just discussion pieces about specific events or people, and it's fun going back in my mind hearing all the stuff that happened during a certain time period because I don't remember everything nor do I frequently watch episodes of Smackdown from 2006 or whatever....so when they talk about things specifically it's nice to just bring up memories.

I used to listen very religiously, but I haven't listened since shortly after his return to WWE several years ago. It started to go downhill when Something Else to Wrestle With was on the network. I also never really liked Conrad Thompson, but I could tolerate as the show was good. After listening to Tony's podcast for awhile I got so burned out on Conrad and how much of a mark that he is for himself that if I never see or hear him again it'll be too soon.
