Been about 2 1/2 years since the basic Marlena(w/ Goldust 2 pack) got cancelled. Can't be that difficult to "find a spot" for her. Classic Mattel over thinking things. I wonder if she is even under a deal at this point? I also think a Molly Holly isn't that far off. I guarantee "Find a spot" means "Wait until she's under a WWE deal again". |

I know Mattel and 2k are different contracts but I'm surprised we haven't got Jacqueline and Ivory. They seem open to having figures too.

I am always, always, ALWAYS up for more women. You know me, it's one of my big things.
The thing is that women have a horrible habit of rotting. Or so I hear, they're always the first gone where I am. Exclusives are a possibility, but then you run into issues like the first Elite Liv where they are impossible to come by. I don't want them in the Legends series, for me that's crap because I have no Target. And I really don't think RSC Exclusives are the way to go for most of them.
I don't know how to handle it. I know I would happily buy more women if they put them out but I don't know how they could justify doing that with all these women and not have them warm like crazy.

The lack of legend females was a big factor in me getting out of collecting. When I see what Chella is doing and the talent, it's a clear sign that talent is out there and that either WWE doesn't see the need to sign them or the talent/estate don't want to sign the soul owning WWE deals. So soul owning that Jake the Snake and Billy Gunn have WWE legends contracts yet are regular characters on another wrestling TV show. Legends Contract or disputes over ownership of name and likeness. You should look it up. |

It is odd they've made way more obscure female wrestlers than Sable, who for a time, was 2nd only to Steve Austin during the height of the Attitude era.

If you guys saw the Luna episode of Dark Side Of The Ring and saw her grown son who is a famous chief from Hell’s Kitchen you wonder why they haven’t reached out to get her under a deal. She’s passed away and you would only have to deal with him who came across as so easy going and a good head on his shoulders. Gangrel is another wrestlers that has stayed out of trouble and is really living a good life….Being close friends with Edge I’m surprised Gangrel isn’t under a deal.
Luna is definitely HOF bound and Mattel would make killer elites with all her awesome looks.

Yeah, I know the Legends contracts used to give WWE a lot of determination in your appearances for shows and signings, but it seems like now they're just licensing deals. The company's just not that deeply interested in that side of things anymore. |

I'd love a Gangrel, but I think his likeness is complicated, as Marvel have (at least partial) ownership of it. I’ve often said if that’s the case then just put The Brood on his figure and call it a day. But as another poster said he owns the name Gangrel now. I don't think that's how it works. You can't really just steal the likeness and give a different (albeit directly associated) name. I'm pretty sure they'd get in trouble for that somewhere along the way.
Besides, if he does indeed own the name, considering he's on good terms with WWE (or so I believe, anyway) you'd think he'd be keen to have a figure made and get some cash in the door.
To be honest, i kinda thought that 'brood' Christian figure was supposed to be a 'wink wink, nudge, nudge' Gangrel. In the same way that WrestleMania street clothes Edge is eerily similar to Test. (though in reality, it's just coincidence).

Mae Young so under rated as a figure, one of the best Mattel have produced. Absolutely bang on. Would be awesome to get a Moolah one day to go with it but for now, having her hook arms with Sexual Chocolate on display is great 😅
