I haven’t received any email updates on it. Has Mattel shared anything? Are there final prototypes to show off? Is the tooling finished? Is there a Macho Man prototype to unveil?

They showed boxed mockups of diesel and Doink and a render for macho

Macho render was shown during the November elite squad reveal. And wasn’t shown but said will also be coming with a soft goods shirt and jacket.

I'm a bit annoyed about it to be honest. Other crowdfunds I've backed always have updates at least once a month, and there's barely been anything for this. I love seeing the behind-the-scenes process of getting the product together from start-to-finish, but it doesn't seem we're going to get any of that here.

I'm a bit annoyed about it to be honest. Other crowdfunds I've backed always have updates at least once a month, and there's barely been anything for this. I love seeing the behind-the-scenes process of getting the product together from start-to-finish, but it doesn't seem we're going to get any of that here. This must be your first time dealing with Mattel? |

It ended not even 4 months ago and it’s not set to come out until Summer 2022. Have patience. We were told we’d get email updates throughout the process. We’ve had none so far. I was hoping to get updates about the design and manufacturing process. I’m not interested in waiting for Wrestlemania to see the product like it’s a regular item. It’s a crowdfunded specialty item. I want to hear things like, “The manufacturer finished tooling, here are the specs” and get updates about the whole process. That’s the impression I get and the expectation set by most well-done crowd funding projects: frequent communication about the project. If only because I’m interested in what goes on behind the scenes of toy manufacturing. |

This is by far the best set I have ever preordered. I actually bought extra to use as trade bait for some older figures like a defining moments Bret and Hbk. Looking forward to summer 2022! |
