Imo storm are another level They also put out a lot less product I think than super 7 and that has to be part of why they’re so good. Storm figures are the pinnacle of wrestling figures IMO. I can't think of anyone else who is doing them better. I just wish they did more of them lol.

Yeah, this is next level stuff for Storm. Their previous real life likenesses were good (Hogan,Tyson,Ali) but there was always a bit of cartooniness to them. Not so in this case, this looks like a 1/6 head scaled down, at least from the promo pics.

I think they're better than Mattels. They're bulky, fun, highly poseable, and have a bunch of swappable parts. My only issues with Storm so far are the bleed that happens with their clothing and the fragility of small items like glasses. I think I've broken several pairs.

The 1/12 Tyson was a bit bloated and I’m not sure why that is. However, the 1/6 Tyson was on F’n point!

The bloated figure's alternate heads just look confused, lol. I think with stuff like that, less articulation is better as it doesn't make the figure look so odd. It's more statuesque.

I thought of it as being cartoony myself, which I liked cause it reminded me of how he looked in Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

Just catching up on some old mwfpod episodes and 2 or 3 weeks ago they mentioned this figure, then the price of $50 and commented on that price...while a segment earlier promoting a video they did trying to justify figures of themselves at $70 lol

Is the figure really going to be $50? For a Storm figure that's really surprising.

Just re listened. Bryan says fig looks “too thick” but not making a judgement which is fair enough.
Matt says he likes the screaming face then asks how much they are, Bryan says “I think they’re 59.99” before saying they’re top of the line and Matt says “so they are pricey” before saying he will get 100%
So they were fair and complementary on the figure based on what we currently know / have seen, I just found the “pricey” comment amusing ivo the price of their figures. Granted I was $9.99 off but was going from memory in my original post snd that’s still $10 less than theirs.
It was the EP released 1/7 ‘are there too many retros’ and is around 37 mins in (they only discuss for like 2 mins).

He could be leaner but the photos aren’t entirely clear to me. http://instagram.com/p/CfSdcOcuCBk Anything north of $40 feels like a hefty price tag for a figure that is pretty no-frills. Personally, Minoru Suzuki is an exception to that rule for me.

Yeah I thought it was a bit plain for a rsc exclusive but that face scan is better than any super 7, mattel and in line with the better neca so I say it gets a pass. Only cos the details there and a lot of time and money has gone into it looking so good

Their red and yellow Hogan is still the one to beat - although I haven't gotten to check out Mattel's Ultimate Edition in person yet.

It’s been 9 month since the first image and 6 weeks since RSC advertised “coming soon.”
Wish we had more info like I don’t photos of the entire figure, packaging, accessories, price point, preorder or release date. For a niche figure, they aren’t trying too hard to market this.

Looks like the only etailer able to sell Storm figures now is big bad. Wonder if that will affect this figure in anyway.

I tried looking it up but didn’t see it anywhere. The recent Storm pre orders, like Balrog and Geese Howard, on the big bad site are listed as store exclusive now. And theyre not listed at places like entertainment earth, when they would've been in the past. It has something to do with bandai purchasing bluefin, I believe. Edit: heres something about it. Theyre the exclusive us seller. Not sure if this will affect ringside selling the Suzuki figure. In the past, big bad sold the first Liger figure so its possible Suzuki would be sokd through there. www.reddit.com/r/ActionFigures/comments/wjdmbp/bigbadtoystore_to_be_the_exclusive_supplier_of/
