To be fair Austin vs Pac would be a banger.

Stunning Steve > Stone Cold Surfer Sting > Crow Sting AEW > WCW I agree with 2 of these 100% and really I enjoy both Austin’s so I’m ok with that one.

The original comment claimed Bryan couldn’t work as well as Omega. Which is so hilariously bad. He can't. Omega is the best in this business. That's my opinion. You act like I'm saying BD is crap.

Yeah, saying Austin is the worst thing to happen in wrestling cements your place as a troll on the level of Bangarang.

A week let on this, but I mostly enjoyed Hangman/Bryan. That extended period on the outside for Page was really bad though. REALLY bad. Maybe I listen to too much Cornette, but was this a no countout match? He was literally outside for like 5 minutes. Even if it was no countout you'd figure the match would be called based on him not being able to continue. That was terrible. That said, I'm fine with the draw. It was a very different draw than the Omega match. Yes it makes Page look a little weaker, but it also gives Bryan a potential out for why I can't finish matches, as in this case he could plausibly explain why he chose not to finish him.
Sidebar, I like the way that AEW is creating heels. I love what they're doing with Cody, having him basically be Cena and Roman rolled into one only with subtle nods towards heeldom (the heel ramp tease was a nice touch). This is a smart approach. I also love that even though they are seemingly shoving him down our throats, they really aren't. He gets the right wins to give him that smark heat, but he's not getting the wrong wins that actually bury people. I could be vastly overanalyzing this, but if this whole Cody approach (including the reality show) isn't carefully orchestrated then it couldn't have been accomplished better if had been. Now all he needs to do is start saying things like 'that's not gonna work for me', and overtly 'trying' to sabotage talent. Cody the character, planned or not, is the embodiment of everything that a smark audience is predisposed to hate. He's Hogan, Nash, Cena, face Roman, 'family man' Steamboat (with the equally maligned Brandy playing the role of Bonnie), HHH, even Booker Dusty all rolled into one. He's federation poison. With the right moves he could eventually show shades of Vince himself. If he really is this out of touch, then they really need to continue to roll with this approach. Cody could easily evolve into the greatest heel in the history of the wrestling business over the next few years.
