good opening match. Claudio's swing on Private Party was awesome. I like Rush but he's gotta sell more.

Enjoy what I’ve watched from Willow, but Jade should beat everyone always and forever.

Comedy nyla is the best nyla. She's crazy funny wish she could show it more with her character.

Good little BCC Trios match, crowd was kinda dead for the finish cuz Yuta used a random submission.
Varsity Athletes squash Varsity Blonds. Good Acclaimed segment.
Decent little women's tag. Anna blew the finish.
Shoutout to the sign that said start Rampage at 7PM Est.
Interesting how PAC took the help from Rush, despite Rush and Andrade feuding with Lucha Bros just a few weeks ago
Really good match between Pac and Trent?, but COME ON MAN, go away Orange
Damn, was really pulling for Willow. One of Jade's better matches. Nyla stealing the title is kinda interesting.
Contract tampering segment with Hardy and Page was just more petty WWE shots. Both sides need to stop with this stuff. Eventual match between the 2 should be alright.
Dynamite has a loaded card for next week
Kinda weak match between FTR and Gates of Agony to finish the show.

Haaaaaaard disagree. I'm more interested now than damn near ever. Yeah? By what? Not being facetious. Genuine question. I'm hoping "by what?" means you're asking what I find more interesting now, because that's what I'm trying answer. If not, well oops lol. I think the biggest differences for me right now compared to other periods are: More frequent talent cycling -> I much prefer a booking style like pre-tv NXT, Impact, ROH, etc. When they taped in one month blocks like that in one night, you would typically only have each guy wrestle one actual match, and then the other things would be advancing the stories. Meaning, in any given month, I won't see the same guy every week, but I'll see everyone wrestle at least once. I like that a lot better than featuring someone really heavily for months in a row then they disappear for months on end. One of my least favourite builds to a PPV match was Moxley/Jericho, because for like a month straight it was "Mox fights this guy from the Inner Circle, then mox fights that guy from the inner circle, etc, etc". Obviously early pandemic they were hamstrung by a limited roster, but there were other periods where it felt like I wouldn't see exactly the same people each week and I much preferred that. Many more smaller stories again. One of my favourite things in AEW booking since its inception has been the amount of mid and lower card stories going on. They went away for a while when rampage was kind of turning into a dumpster fire. It is starting to feel like everyone has a story again. Some matches will always be matches for the purpose of going up the card, but the people involved still had stories and things they were chasing. Everything means something. It's been like that for most of the companies history and one of its strongpoints, but rampage was falling off for a bit where it felt like a lot of people were stuck in limbo for where they were headed in the company. Stories don't need to advance in huge ways every single night. All that happened with 10 tonight in the absence of Andrade was they made it clear Jose and RUSH still wanted him. Blondes entire story advancement was losing the Varsity tag and a dissapointed Armed Anderson. Someone you don't want to piss off. 20 seconds of TV time and their story moved forward. Love it. The women are mattering more and more. Self explanatory really, it just feels like it's been improving. It's still 1 match a show, but the matches have been doing a much better job of showcasing the strengths. The mix of talent. One of the things that really drew me to AEW was getting a mix of my favourites like Hangman, Kenny, The Bucks, etc, along with a blend of people who I was going to learn about and watch grow, like Wardlow, Darby, J.E., etc. For a good period of Punk's tenure, the show was so much focused on Punk, Bryan, Adam Cole Bay-Bay, etc, that so many of those homegrown guys were falling by the wayside. I love Bryan, Cole, and so many of those big names, but I want a balance. Tonight was a great example. FTR/Joe existed alongside Wardlow, Brian Cage, and Gates of Agony. That's a great blend of people in different stages of their careers and wrestling backgrounds. Hell I got to see the Varsity Blondes against The Varsity Athletes tm, and while I know that's not a "money match", having those types of matches on the card where it's an actual lower/mid-card feud rather than jobber vs star, is great. And, both stories advanced. We got a clue at what's coming for the Blondes post J-U-L-I-A. (Who, btw, freaking star in the making!) The in-ring product has always been great, that never changes and is a constant hallmark of the company. It just feels like the booking is getting back to what I loved the most, where I got a frequent variety of who was on week to week, people weren't disappearing for months at a time and I wasn't being overexposed to them for months on end like the Trustbusters at a Dark taping. Tony has taken a LOT of his booking philosophies from 80's and early 90's style wrestling, and that's what I loved the most growing up. I grew up in the Attitude Era, and while I watched it and enjoyed the actual wrestling and a few* of the stories, I freaking hated the weekly television as a whole and would find myself going back and just watching a ton of Golden Era stuff. Hope that answers it.

I grew up in the Attitude Era, and while I watched it and enjoyed the actual wrestling and a few* of the stories, I freaking hated the weekly television as a whole and would find myself going back and just watching a ton of Golden Era stuff. Hope that answers it. Fair enough. Whereas I too grew up in the Golden/Attitude Era, I found the best of both worlds to be the Smackdown Six Era of Ruthless Aggression. The Heyman days. I will always look back on those with such fondness. Riveting storylines mixed with weekly five star matches. Everyone mattered. From top to bottom. I felt like that's where AEW was going, but it's since gone back to the matches for matches sake, need to follow every show to follow along style format that I dislike. And I still feel like there is a pecking order, in which the smaller card wrestlers are just kind of winging their storylines with no sense of direction. I enjoy wrestling, don't get me wrong. But I enjoy storylines better. Especially storylines that got me asking "Okay, where is this going next?". Even the ones with predictable outcomes. I don't feel that anymore. Sadly. There isn't a storyline I care about right now. The matches? Still great. Stories? Nada.

Upgraded our seats last minute since the prices were so low and wound up on the floor row "2" which was actually row one where we were. I've never been that close at a wrestling show before what a cool experience

I promise we were waaaay louder than its coming across. The audio is not nearly as accurate as Wednesday. We were loud as hell Friday too. Maybe it's just my crappy tsn feed though, that would make sense.
