Was thinking about this earlier. My all time favorite match is probably Ciampa vs Gargano from New Orleans, but neither men are my all time favorite wrestler. Top 10 for sure but not number 1. That would be Austin. So is it like this for anyone else? Does your all time favorite match involve your all time favorite wrestler?

Same for me. Favorite match is Bret & Bulldog SummerSlam ‘92 but my favorite wrestler is HBK.

Probably. Haven't given it a lot of thought, but most of my favorites involve people I really like.
For me enjoyment comes from being immersed in the moment a lot more than it does a super well executed arm drag takedown. And that's easier when cm punk or stone cold are on than it is when happy Corbin or drew wackentyre are on.

Mine doesn't.
My all time favourite Wrestler is Edge, and my all time favourite match is WrestleMania 23 - John Cena vs Shawn Michaels.
In my list of Top 10 matches, Edge actually doesn't feature until Number 6. That being WrestleMania 37 - Roman Reigns vs Edge vs Daniel Bryan.

Wow.... that is an interesting question.
If I am talking old school, then yes. My favourite wrestlers were HBK and Diesel and my favourite match from that era is Diesel & Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon & 123 Kid from Action Zone Oct. 1994 for the WWF Tag Titles.
As for recent stuff?? It's tough. I honestly haven't went back and re-watched any matches or PPVs or TakeOver shows in the past 5 - 6 years. I watch them once and that's it. I remember I liked and even loved a lot of the matches though over those years, but I am gonna take a guess and say that anyone I do enjoy now on the WWE roster, may have not been in a lot of the matches I did enjoy watching.

Yes, Angle vs Benoit at RR. Hogan/Rock 1 is a close second. Angle and Hogan are 1 and 2 for me.
