As much as I hate them doing Big E dirty, Brock winning has a lot of people talking. Imagine they run Brock vs E at the Rumble and if Roman is in good shape, him vs Goldberg. Goldberg vs Reigns has been a match I’ve been wanting to watch for a very long time. Even if the match itself is potentially garbage. Have Goldberg dominate the first half of the match only for Reigns to work him into thinking he’s defeated. Then Reigns annihilates him into a bloody pulp. Reigns needs to stopped being booked as a heel who needs to cheat and runs away. It kind of defeats the purpose of him looking like a threat if he constantly needs the Usos all the time.

absolutely gutted they did Big E dirty like that. WWE booking is such dogsh*t, everyone says he "sucked" as champion....why? because they booked him like a chump. he lost a bunch of matches, the focus of the show was on Rollins/Owens and he was made to look and feel like a sidecar. he barely did anything. he was just....there. thats 100% on the writing team/Vince not giving a they even put the belt on him. Big E sucked as champ because his character is weak. When he was Big E Langston he was seen as tough, but would always be a mid-carder. Then he transitioned into a comedy act. Sure they won titles, but come on ... day-glo outfits, pancakes, catchphrases, popcorn, etc. CLASSIC wwe mark BS. If you want him to be a contender he needs to be more like Roman or Brock. He's basically a Miz on steroids in many ways. Lashley is MUCH more believable than Big E.

So much great talent was released last year due to budget cuts and yet they can afford the likes of Goldberg and Lesnar.
I feel that Vince just doesn't care anymore. Instead of doing something different he thinks it a great idea to put Brock in the Mania main event for the up tenth time.

Brock draws money. Big E does not have mass appeal. Its Wrestlemania check cashing season. Its as simple as that.

If they had Brock available last year its almost certainty he would have been in one of the main title matches. Pretty sure we would have gotten Brock/Drew II instead of Drew/Lashley.

Last years Wrestlemania wasn't solid. It was decent, and being that it was the first live show for fans in over a year, any matches on the two nights would have looked great, just based on the excitement of being there and seeing it live.

Liv Morgan experiment better be over now. She just does "athletic" moves, she thinks look cool - only they just look awkward, because she is sloppy af. Can't believe people actually want her to be champ.

Can't believe people actually want her to be champ. For me, these matches with Becky have been better than I expected. I wouldn’t be against her having a pretty short title run, but overall she’s not a mainstay as a main eventer or in the title scene IMO. I think you compared her to Naomi before? That’s too much credit to Naomi 😆

Haven’t watched WWE in months but I do keep up with the recaps.
I like Big E, but he always felt like a midcarder holding the WWE Title (more-so than even Kofi). The WWE did nothing to make him stand out, and his title run just seemed…well, there.
While I see a lot of fans upset for Big E, Brock moves the needle (unlike Big E). I’ve already seen ESPN mention Brock on Sportscenter, and he’s taking pictures with Wayne Gretzky while holding the belt. Brock is the closest thing they have to a mainstream name so it makes sense to throw the belt on him as they go into the biggest show of the year.
Now this doesn’t fix any of the long-term planning that fans have been calling the WWE out on for the better part of the past decade. It’ll be interesting when the day comes where Brock decides he’s done and they don’t have anyone else to throw the title on year after year (which probably mean Roman will main event about 20 WMs before all is said and done).

Assuming we get Lashley/Lesnar and Drew/Roman I think its probably better off than trying to cram Brock/Roman in at Mania for the 3rd time. As far as Big E, sucks his title reign ended abruptly but kind of summed up his run. Uneventful and anyone could take the title from him at any moment if it meant a better story. As said above, gotta have your all stars in the title picture at Mania, I can't picture a WWE title match with Big E being a main marquee attraction. Not meant to be a knock on Big E, perhaps give the guy another shot after Mania season but I don't think he's done enough to put himself in conversation with Roman and Brock or even Drew/Lashley/Rollins/Orton/Styles to be honest. I feel like whatever they end up doing at Mania will not be too exciting for me. I don’t care about Lesnar vs. Lashley. Love Drew, but I’m not interested in seeing him lose to Roman yet again. Roman/Brock for the 3rd time in 6 months and/or to unify the titles, not what I want to see. Prior to tonight I thought we were headed toward Big E vs. Seth at Rumble with Seth potentially taking the title, or waiting out the switch until Mania. I still think its possible Seth gets the title before Mania unless they're going with Lesnar/Lashley. I heard(I think from WrestleTalk but I forgot who reported it first)Big E was supossed to keep the title saturday until the whole Roman Covid stuff happened and they changed up the plans. I'm hoping Brock drops the title back to Big E or Seth at the Rumble.

Just go for Lashley winning the Rumble and face him Lesnar, while Reigns can go against this Hollywood hasbeen. If DJ is not available due to any highly important commitments such as a Pampers commercial they can still go for Lesnar vs Reigns. How about a big unification match for Mania Champion vs Champion, winner gets all. Not bad for a Plan B.

It’ll be interesting when the day comes where Brock decides he’s done and they don’t have anyone else to throw the title on year after year (which probably mean Roman will main event about 20 WMs before all is said and done). That is one of the biggest issues with the WWE. They have a supreme roster who could be the future of pro wrestling but they just book them to look like fools. Look at Nakamura he entered WWE as a hot act who could have been a mega name who drew in fans and sold tickets. Same can be said for Owens, Rollins, Balor etc. They have the talent but just invest in Roman, Brock & Goldberg. One of AEW's main advantages over WWE is that they build stars and don't rely on the old timers to sell tickets. People tune in every week to see Darby, Page, MJF etc. In just 3 years they have built a roster full of future Legends of the business. Putting the belt on Lesnar every WM season is lazy booking because all year they have the chance to invest in their roster and as you said time is ticking and Lesnar won't be around forever.
