I’ve seen plenty of JYD, Piper’s and Nash’s but have only seen one Billy Gunn. Do you guys think people are buying multiples so that they can sell all 5 of them as a set? Im starting to think that a complete DX army might go crazy in price in a couple years.

Legends in general does really well in my area. I managed to find Piper of the latest set but that's it so far. In my experience, most Triple H figures are easy to find, but if the whole idea is to collect a complete DX Army, maybe he'll be a challenge, too. I definitely plan on getting X-Pac as soon as it goes up online if I can.

Gunns other figures go for a lot on the secondary market so I’m not surprised people jumped on that one. Road dog, Xpac and hhh will probably be easy to find.
Not sure about chyna though because it’s kind of a first time at retail situation.

It's always pretty uncertain, especially when physical retail is in play, but the Legends that seem to sell through the most are Macho and Warrior. Bret too, depending on the look. I'd imagine the DX ones won't be too difficult.

Plus the wm Chyna was packed with Rocco which made for a really weird and unappealing presentation. I have a feeling this one will do better. |

When AFA said they were gonna start pumping out Chyna figs my initial thought was “why?” I love Chyna but she isn’t someone that I think many of us need multiple versions of. DX and maybe Mamacita and that’s about it.

I would buy a Judgement Day 2001 Chyna if Mattel are thinking of doing another one though. |

Here in the Texas market, Gunn was the hardest one to find. I was able to grab him in the middle of the night and he was immediately out of stock again after my order. He's the only one of that set that I've never seen in stores.
Personally I believe OP is right and that in a few years, a complete set of the DX Army with all 5 figures MIB will fetch big bucks.

Mattel needs to release Chyna from her 1st IC title reign look. That's her iconic look which should be in the Ultimate line hopefully.

I saw Billy Gunn a bunch and he was constantly available on the target site. Trips was even up for preorder again last week. Only one I rarely saw from the last wave was Kevin Nash.

In Ontario, Canada Billy was the hardest to find at first but now my local TRU is flowing with him. I could pop in today and buy 4 or 5 if I wanted.

I will happily buy every Chyna figure they make. She was huge for me as a teenager. I wanted to be just like her. That said, I.C. Champ Chyna is probably the second greatest want I have for a figure right now and the greatest one I think they have the ability to make. If they make her I'll probably buy one to keep MOC. As it is, I already have her basic displayed with the belt, and I have plans on converting a WM Chyna into that figure as an Elite. Please. Give me all the Chyna figures. |
