As some of you have noticed, I’ve been bored recently and have started making threads asking random questions. Well this might be the most random. The question is, which Wrestlemania match would you have the most trouble believing would happen if you were told about it five years before it happened?
For me it would have to be Steen and Generico vs Bryan and Shane McMahon. How batsh** random that would have sounded in 2013.
Runner up would have to be Shane McMahon vs AJ Styles. The idea that AJ would eventually sign with WWE and would face Shane at a Wrestlemania is insane.

Id have a hard time believing Reigns would defend the title against Daniel Bryan and Edge in a triple threat if you told me 5 years ago when both guys were retired.

Ronda Rousey, who was a UFC Champion in 2013, teaming with Kurt Angle, who was in TNA, taking on Triple H and Stephanie comes to mind.
Triple H vs Sting.
Edge vs Mick Foley.
Bret Hart vs Mr McMahon.
Floyd Mayweather vs Big Show.
Donald Trump vs Mr McMahon.

How about being told in late 90s that Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, RVD, and Sabu would be competing in a Wrestlemania match in 2007

I guess I would just say Sting signing with the WWE and having a match at WrestleMania would be for me. I didn’t think he would ever sign with the WWE much less have a WM match. if i was told in 1986 that in 1991 sgt slaughter would be defending the wwf title vs hulk hogan i would have laughed in your face Really? Sarge was pretty big then. I remember in 1984 or 85 (I forget if I was a Jr or Sr at the time, but kids were getting in trouble in my school for emulating him and putting the cobra clutch on other students. |

In 2012 if you would say, "The TNA World Champion Austin Aries will be wrestling at Wrestlemania in 2017" I would say, "You are crazy, fool!"
Well, suffice to say... it happened! Pre-show, but still, Wrestlemania was the event.

If you would've told me in 1996 that commentator Vince(What a maneuver!) would face his son in a marquee Mania match 5 years later which also involved the death of WCW I'd say you're crazy.

Can we throw in Jericho vs Piper/Steamboat & Snuka in 2009 just purely for the fact the Jericho got to wrestle Ricky when he was literally a hero to him when he was young. That’s a big WTF moment for him I’m sure!
