I just checked out Big Lots to see if they had any elites, which they did not, but I did find the latest Cena and Rock ultimate editions. They had 2 of each. They were $30 each. I've seen basics and elites, but haven't heard of ultimates there. I don't need either of them, but it gives hope that maybe they'll get Undertaker and Kane.

It's still extremely dumb they sell figures at retail costs when the reason they have them in the first place is because they didn't sell originally at that price.

Last time I checked they were back down to $10, but damm.

Why the these dumbasses thought people would be falling over themselves for a John Cena in a soft goods t-shirt from an extremely obscure movie role, and a Rock in a sarong, is absolutely laughable. These things have been clogging shelves here in Texas since they dropped. And it's the same figures because the boxes look more and more battered and creased every time I visit and see them still sitting there.

It's all I want, but not seen in store, never made it to the walmart my brother works at, my preorder still delayed, and all I see is rock/Cena EVERYWHERE

That said, I generally agree that the Hollywood line was a gimmick that IMO exists more as something WWE wanted established about their brand than it does at fitting in with Mattel's usual approach to WWE figures.

To be fair, I never said the F&FT franchise was obscure, nor are the individual movies. My point was that Cena's role is obsure, and it is. Stop any guy on the street and ask him to name a guy in the franchise, and he's going to say Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, The Rock, Tyrse, Michelle Rodriguez, etc, long before Cena's name is ever going to come up. I'm not sure who exactly this figure is supposed to appeal to. Because the three major markets - wrestling, F&TF and kids - don't give a damn about this figure clearly. Scorpion King Rock and They Live Piper will sell well, but the rest are headed for Clearance City. Hell, I think a Marine Cena would've done better than a F&TF Cena.

Rock and Cena are big Hollywood stars, plus Cena is a fan favorite. I guess they just expected them to fly off shelves. Unfortunately they seem to not have done that.

I'm not only expecting to see the Hollywood Elites at Big Lots, but also basic 123 in large numbers. That particular set was a huge flop this holiday season in my local stores. Normally basics sell superfast around me, but apparently no one knows who Dexter Lumis and Jake Atlas are.

I keep hearing about the Hollywood line filling shelves but have yet to see any in store at all. No Walmart’s in westernWisconsin seems to have ever head them at all.

Wish I could go into a Big Lots and find some of the older UEs like Warrior, HBK, Rock. I’d snag em all up. Wishful thinking I know

Saw them a couple weeks ago. Had them, the Hardy/Triple H pack and a $35 Otis basic....Yes, you read that price right

That Rock/Cena Ultimate set is probably the weakest since the line really took off. Cena and Rock have both already had Ultimates and these aren’t THAT different from those. This set is the only set I’ve seen multiple times untouched. Usually I’d see one figure from the series more than another, but I haven’t seen as many Ultimates in the wild as Rock and Cena since Nakamura. I’m not surprised to see these at Big Lots, just like I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Hollywood Rock and Cena at Big Lots or Ollie’s.

I went to my BL about 2 weeks ago & they had a case of the wrestlemania elite edge for $22. And here I thought that Chyna was the fail of that set
Also I think some BL get random stuff that others might not get. I've seen the legends cena elite & the Jim neidhart Walmart set there and didn't hear anything about them here. And back in the jakks era I heard they had the hulk vs Andre UK set so I went to about 10 BL & never saw it

I was in BL and the only WWE merch there was the championship showdown belt... for about 40 dollars.
I literally busted out laughing in the aisle.
