My guess is that Legends deals (or at least the type Sting had) don’t have the same clauses related to already in-production merchandise that main roster ones seemingly do. I believe Flair was on a Legends deal. Plus that wouldn't explain why Kenta didn't come out. I think it must be part of the new deal with Mattel...If a figure is already in production and the talent is released, it can still be done. Maybe, but as far as we know, did Flair's Legends deal ever end? They had still been putting up new merch even after he was let go from her performer contract. RE: Kenta, IIRC he was on an original-style NXT deal. Basically, it seems like there's no universal catch-all here IMO. as for being part of Mattel's deal, maybe. But there were instances of them releasing figures of people who'd left throughout the line's history, so I still think it probably has more to do with the specific performer's style of contract. |

That said, the Legends Sting would be my Number One if it was on here.

You know, RE: The Gooker.
I was discussing the thing about how they can't release masked wrestlers they don't have the rights to and I was wondering... Does anyone know if that ruling stems back to the original court case regarding Back To The Future Pt II and George McFly? Because I'm genuinely curious if that's the rock that started this particular snowball.

I don’t understand why they cancelled this Sting but are still releasing Flair, Fiend, Cole, Scarlett in E92, Kross in E93, Fiend in UE12 (not that I’m mad about them still coming out though).  they probably have more leway and can get away with it now, when Sting was let go WWE wasn't on a fire the roster attitude |
