Over on WZ they have an article covering how the WWE is getting into the lotto game. You know, since kids love scratchers and whatnot. Interesting though how the article described the WWE which I'll assume the WWE approved:
About WWE
WWE, a publicly traded company (NYSE: WWE), is an integrated media organization and recognized leader in global entertainment. The Company consists of a portfolio of businesses that create and deliver original content 52 weeks a year to a global audience. WWE is committed to family-friendly entertainment on its television programming, premium live events, digital media and publishing platforms. WWE’s TV-PG programming can be seen in more than 900 million homes worldwide in 28 languages through world-class distribution partners including NBCUniversal, FOX Sports, BT Sport, Sony India and Rogers. The award-winning WWE Network includes all premium live events, scheduled programming and a massive video-on-demand library and is currently available in more than 180 countries. In the United States, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock, is the exclusive home to WWE Network.
Take a look at that description and tell me what word is missing, lol.

A lot of words are missing actually.
I don't see the word, "hamburger" in that description. Or the words, "bookshelf, Christmas tree, Nintendo, door, and blanket."

Can’t believe they didn’t include the words “f*ck”, “sh*t”, “goddamn”, or “JBL is poopy.”
The absolute monsters.

"Cockamamie" "Bowdingle" "Scrum-diddly-umptious" "Good"
Everyone here has known for years, nigh decades, that Vince thinks of wrestling as lowbrow and wants nothing to link his company to it, despite technically running a professional wrestling company. Most have either moved on to more important issues or are unaffected in regards to their enjoyment, or lack thereof.

Imagine watching a soap opera and bitching cause you never see a bar of soap or an opera singer.

I think this goes even deeper, guys. The McDonalds corporate mission statement doesn’t use the words burger, fries or chicken nuggets even though we all know that’s the kind of food they sell:
Maybe a lot of companies use corporate, self-aggrandising language to market their brand? No. Satan has a hand in this, I am certain of it. It’s got Vince’s fingerprints all over it.

Sigh...this guy again. WWE is wrestling. yes, sports entertainment is wrestling, just as hardcore wrestling is another form nonetheless they’re largely viewed as bastardizations of pro wrestling. then again, pro wrestling in and of itself is a bastardization of shoot wrestling, so 🤷🏻♂️

I'm a little dissapointed. I read the thread title as "WWE, more like Weeeeeeeeee" in my head, and was hoping for a post involving a slide somewhere.
That said, this isn't exactly news. Nicky Khan uses almost all of these words consistently, and everyone knows the history with their avoidance of the word wrestling. Started as a way to work around sporting regulations, then became a calling card to differentiate from other wrestling companies.
In terms of words I was hoping for, Nitwit, Blubber, Oddment, and Tweak come to mind. Bonus points if you catch that reference.
