Lesnar vs Lashley was good but could have been better and a lil longer. Hopefully they’ll face off a few more times in the future with Lesnar winning, longer matches, clean finishes etc. It’s about time it finally happened.

Why weren't the Usos in the Rumble? They should have been in it along with Edge, Miz, Cesaro, Balor.

Lita, 47, appears in the Royal Rumble
WFIGS: Grandma!!
Edge, 48, does not appear in the Royal Rumble
WFIGS: He could have won and faced Bobby Lashley (45) at Wrestlemania!

Its going to be interesting to see how many outside women WWE can find next year to fill the Rumble. I can't imagine anyone looked at how the "outside talent" was treated this year and said I want to come back for that. Melina — Lasted 53 seconds Kelly Kelly — Lasted 1 Minute 5 Seconds Cameron — Lasted 51 seconds Ivory — Lasted 25 seconds Summer Rae — Lasted 52 seconds Sarah Logan — Lasted 43 seconds Molly Holly — Lasted 20 seconds Mickie James — Got the biggest pop of the night for the Women aside from Ronda and got attacked before she could even get in the ring by WWE lifer Michelle McCool to further crap on her To put things into perspective, the guy who lasted the shortest amount of time in the Men's rumble was Johnny Knoxville and he survived almost 30 seconds longer than Kelly Kelly who of all people had the longest time in the ring of people on this list other than Mickie James. If it is true, Lana and the IIconics were smart to stay far away from this clown show. Haven’t those people you timed been retired for years? They’re probably not accepting a Royal Rumble cameo expecting they’re being booked for a half hour of chain wrestling. It’s an entrance and a little fun spot. I wish the men’s Rumble had more of those short bursts of legends. I don’t know if it was just because I was tired but there were way too many uninteresting midcard/tag wrestlers for me. Knoxville and Sami didn’t even do anything fun. Nobody really stood out. The only memorable, out of the ordinary thing I can recall was the Lesnar-Bunny staredown. And Shane McMahon “outbrawling” Riddle 😂.

My simple point was I can't imagine a ton of outside talent saw how non roster folk were handled and thought "I want that to be me next year". And in a time where the roster seemingly keeps getting thinner that's something that WWE is going to need to rely on.

Riddle was supposed to win the match, ffs Would rather have the WrestleMania main event be Brock Lesnar dryhumping a broom for twenty minutes than have Riddle even sniffing a 'Mania main event.

Riddle was supposed to win the match, ffs Would have been my first choice, but thought it was far too unrealistic.

And of course that one member who called any woman past her 20's old during the event.

Is it bad that you say that one member like it's obvious and only 1 and then I had like 5 candidates jump to mind 😂?

I just read someone theorize that Shane intentionally mukked up the rumble so that he would never be dragged back into the company by Vince again.
I don't care if it's an insane take, that would be the funniest friggin thing in the world to me and I'm going to pretend it's true because I'm still laughing at the thought of it. Just the notion that Vince is so determined to burn the whole thing to the ground and he's like "Here, pops, let me help you with that..."
I'm still laughing. It would be so absurdly selfish if that's what happened, yes. But it would be hilarious to me personally and, really, if it is true that Shane did wrangle it from the hands of Noble and was potentially the one responsible for Riddle not winning, then that's even better. I hate Riddle with a passion, and, as stated, I'd rather see Brock doing pretty much anything in the WM Main Event than Riddle going near it.

Fightful’s reporting on Riddle potentially winning was the opposite, no one they talked to said they heard Riddle talked about as winner. SRS is the best in the business right now so I’ll side with their reporting first.
That said, I would have loved to see Riddle win.

I'm not the biggest Riddle fan at all, flat out don't really like him, but he would have been such a better winner than Brock. Have Riddle win the Rumble, Orton wins the Chamber for the title, Orton/Riddle at Mania. Brock can just challenge Roman like he was contractually obligated to do at Day One.

More to add to the backstage chaos: the entrance numbers for Orton and Shane were supposedly mixed up, and Orton had to order Shane out there to answer his music cue whilst he was pitching a fit.

This Rumble scored record breaking merchandise sales and was the 2nd highest gate in Rumble history and one of the highest gates the WWE has seen.
It’s crazy how the company will always make more money then ever while the product is trash lol. I gotta give it to them tbh.
