I love this line and there are so many great figures to be made. But distribution is a major problem. At my local store it was stuck at wave three until the wave with Andre. Where'd the other waves go? If it wasn't for some great people here I'd be missing most of the line. I've never had a shot at four figures at retail price. It's really frustrating

You make good points, but distro aside, in my opinion, hard to call it a failure overall as a line if there have been 11 series of it. A failure would have stopped far sooner. You could substitute 'ends' instead of 'fail' but the meaning behind TheEvilDoink1987's comment (and my reply) is still the same- if/when the line ends, Walmart will be to blame for the way they have handled things up to now.
I agree with your comment about the line not been a failure, the fact it has made it to series 11 indicates that it is successful which will suck if it ends prematurely due to Walmart's poor distribution. On the other hand, I am astonished that it has made it to series 11 with such poor distribution. I hope Walmart either makes changes to improve the distribution or cancels the line so that Mattel can find a new home for it.
Now I am 100% agreement! While I have fortunately been able to find every figure in the wild, my Walmart radius is extensive and plentiful. I feel for those that have not even a handful of WMs to go to or are stuck with barren wastelands or any figure not named Dibiase or Shango or Bray, etc.

I'm pretty lucky that I've found everything to date at retail. I live within 30 minutes of 4 Walmarts that all tend to have vastly different selections. Oddly enough, the small "crap" Walmart has been the one that gets all the rare stuff first.
I snagged Bulldog and Kane from there a few weeks ago, but a friend beat me to Ali. Does anyone remember when these came out? I feel like first sightings were FALL OF LAST YEAR, and they still haven't hit widespread yet???

They sure are getting the most out of that fat body mold, looks like both Anvil and Cactus have it. Im betting Cactus has the WANTED shirt painted on underneath.
Too bad they didn't have the fat body tooled for when they made Bray way back in Series 1.

So happy to see this line continue and the introduction of more legends. After the first few waves I was worried it would be gone by now. Still not easy to find though. I’ve been fortunate. Just missing Ali to date.

Anvil and Bret look great, but I wish they were from their tag team days.

Only 3 figures shown can mean only 2 things:
1. Same system as last year, meaning; s10 (aug 24, s11 (nov 24) and s12 (hf and cj) will be released dec 24 - july 2025 with the bulk of new releases shown at wrestlemania.
2. S12 (hf & cj) = last series at walmart
It is prob #1, with mnw continuing, same distribution issues will occur other than perhaps a chance that they will be available online like steve said will be the case for mnw in 2025 but since steve has never once posted in this almost 200 page thread it would seem preorders are dead in the water especially for this line and that i hold mattel responsible for since they are letting other vendors purchase/sell ahead of the street date leaving walmart with the leftovers.
In short 3 figures = not a good sign either case scenario. They are just motu bodies that should be able to be pumped out at a much faster rate.

Gotta get the hart foundation! Hope they announce reissues of perfect and Bigelow If they start rereleasing figures people paid 40-60+ for the series will crash & burn since they all end up on clearance eventually. S6 will show up one day too or it could be a one off low production series that was hoarded by sultans. Perfect has dropped in price to 40 and bigelow is at 35. No need to rerelease those. Anyone wanting them already paid those prices and higher. Anyone missing them still would be in the same situation as before since their walmarts are likely not high volume enough to even warrant a re-release and prices would still be the same on ebay. Rereleases only help the part time collector. But the damage done outweighs the positives. Exceptions would be a reissue of demolition and legion of doom, for example (IF THEY EVER GET SIGNED AGAIN)

My only issue is when did cactus jack wear that attire? Can't find a pic with him wearing that?

Hard to complain as I have been asking to get Bret in this line forever, but will admit to being a bit disappointed they went with his 1997 look. Given the style of these figures, I just think it would have fit the overall theme better if they depicted them from the late 80s/early 90s. Both still look very good and as expected that Bret head is probably Mattel's best attempt yet.
