Fill in your own examples www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/walmart-furiously-slammed-over-price-increases-as-companys-profits-soar/ar-BB1kvLSPIf you mean me, I'm not "boycotting Walmart" although it's really tempting. On the contrary, I'll ONLY buy these through Walmart. They can either provide these "Walmart Exclusive" Products via their website or their stores - or I simply won't buy them. Searching for Monday Night Wars Series 2 was my breaking point - I will no longer do these long 3-hour, Five-Walmart Road Trips, hoping to find a needle-in-a-haystack when they're only sending ONE CASE of the Monday Night Wars figures to each store and they're typically gone within 1 hour. Or worse yet - the store just doesn't get any at all. If they aren't going to put any thought into stocking these I'm not going to waste my time searching for stuff that isn't out there. I'll go to Walmart like a normal person - when I need household stuff and groceries - and I'll check the Toys while I'm there. And if the WWE pegs are empty, oh-well. I just won't have them. It would be very nice if they were available from their own website - but we all know that in reality, Walmart's website ordering is terrible. Either stuff isn't available at all, or if it is - the orders frequently get cancelled. And I'll be applying the same principal to the Superstars line. They can either stock these things reasonably or I just won't buy them. Don't wanna have them available on your website? Fine I don't need them. But I refuse to feed the scalpers and I refuse to pay above retail for any of this stuff moving forward. I feel like I'm living in the "Great Depression" of wrestling figure collecting, where we are all fighting & scrapping over the last figures left on the shelf because there are never enough for all of us. I've seen grown men RUNNING to the toy department hoping to be the first to find new figures. It's becoming ridiculous.

I saw them twice on the same day. Thats it. Bottom line, buy these figures in lots when collectors give up. I am stuck on series 8 and they are teasing us with series 12. A few corrections nomorexclusive:
Walmart Canada did not stock series 3 or 6
Series 5 was available (briefly) through walmart.ca.
No sign yet of series 11 or 12. I would be okay if they skipped to series 13 as Steamboat & Jake Roberts are 2 big wants of mine and that is the set I am hoping they will pick up.

Nice to see that there are others out there who refuse to pay over retail for these figures. I don't understand the point of paying such high prices for a mass produced figure, if it was a limited edition exclusive or high end figure then perhaps I might consider it but not for these. I guess some people just have to have them no matter the cost. I would be in favour of a boycott if it would help get this line away from Walmart but I don't think enough people would take part to make it effective. As long as they have the exclusive, the line will continue to suffer as its clear they are not going to do anything to improve the availability of these figures. I wish Mattel would offer them another exclusive as an incentive to drop this line so they can find another home for it or make it a Mattel Creations exclusive.

Unfortunately they will not be separating from this line for awhile, I thought it was mentioned not long ago they just redid the contract, what sucks is Walmart is happy getting the lowest amount of these possible. Then these other dealers pick up the rest that were manufactured and sell them for 3 to 5 times more what Walmart sells them for. On the other hand Walmart is happy they sold their minimal amount thinking they’ve done a great job. I think they got confused with the Hollywood hogans and ric flairs, where they originally ordered a lot didn’t sell, so they sold them off to Ollie’s. Walmarts distribution really have took a turn for the worse where certain stores get a lot of one product and other stores get nothing. I’d really like to message who’s in charge of the Walmart toys or Mattel section find out what can be done to help these product get better distribution. I appreciate “nomorexclusives” stats even though they maybe not be 100% correct, it’s nice to see someone is looking at that.

I put rude/earthquake as series 6 but they are series 5 correct. Series 3 was put on american cards but technically they were available. (I have spoken to ebay sellers last year who told me s3 was available at retail (in abundance too) I believe smyths will get the uk version cards for s11 as the displays at wrestlecon said so for the figures displayed (brutus/ramon greyscalw prototypes were shown). I know as i was there forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/376639/mattel-crushed-reveals?page=3Same head / same body / same materials / similar accessories 2021 - bret hart release Price 15.99 2024 - bret hart release Price 20.99 Price increase - 5$ or 31.25% Secondary market price (ebay) Bret hart motuwwe - same as a new superstars figure (about 30-35 including or excluding shipping costs) National inflation avg 2021 - over 8 including food & energy / 4.7% National inflation avg 2024 - less than 2.5%(projected) Im with flair, the walmart boycot continues Greed will destroy walmart sales as it did to walgreens. A lot more accessories and soft goods are being included justifying the price bump. Plus inflation has affected everything. Elites, basics, and UE are more expensive now than pre-pandemic. They go by msrp, which walmart is currently not adhering to for several products (easy to tell when you compare prices at walmart and target). If you remember when k-mart and toysrus were still around you may recall hot wheels selling for .99$ at walmart when target had prices in the 84 cent range. Toysrus was selling them for 1.09$ (This was when hw were super hot). Star wars potf figures were 6.99$ at toysrus when they were just 4.99$ at target. Spawn figures were 9.99$ at k-mart and 7.99$ at toysrus. I have literally tbousands of receipts i can scan and post up vetween 1994 to today to prove that prices are not the same store to store and have spoken with mattel reps when i was in my 30s. They sell the product to these stores and then suggeat a price but stores do not have to stick with that price. They can raise it if a toy is hot (also called price gouging). Prices are also different regionally or in the case of k-mart and toysrus due to debt. I will do a full analysis of that when i have a day off. If soft goods is causing a 5$ price increase than that is just stupid on their part. We are fine with plastic capes. But its not the soft goods, it is just greed. Inflation has dropped almost in half since 2021 and i checked guru for historic raw materials pricing which has not increased year to year. So the jump for the superstars figures from 19.99$ to 20.99$ is just greed. Also walmart was selling yellow hogan for 27$ a few days ago ("sold by walmart.com". If they are using the ".com" to mask that they are selling it through a 3rd party to differentiate between "sold by walmart" and "sold by walmart.com(3rd party?) than that is shady as well because i found that by toggling for the "walmart retailer" filter. They have jumped the shark and no longer acting like a retailer. They are just doing the same thing toybiz and now amazon have donw. Mark up their prices to take advantage of the aftermarket. I have preordered 1000s of items over the past 30 years and know exactly the game they are playing luring customers to their sites with exclusives the way wizard did in the late 90s where you end up paying more for a product with the guise of "ease of service" as the excuse for the higher prices.

We're yelling into the void, or worse, ganging up on the marketing guy from Mattel. Some suit in Bentonville is who needs the proof of empty pegs and there's no way to directly do that AFAIK. Also, if you're struggling to find stuff in PA, I don't mind helping! The Doink/Andre wave has dried up most at of the places I've been but I'll keep an eye out.

I appreciate “nomorexclusives” stats even though they maybe not be 100% correct, it’s nice to see someone is looking at that. For me all the signs are there that the 3rd parties selling them are getting them directly from mattel and have a license to sell them. Just look at the usual suspects (paulmart/sultan/etc) They only sell mattel items (from barbies to legos to hot wheels) with the exception of sultan who also has a panini (topps) license. They are also all located generally close to headquarters... So i dont believe that walmart is supplying them. They are instead "mattel partners"(officially licensed resellers with mattel" who also sell as "walmart partners" on wm.com (paulmart, sultan might be selling under another account name) I think you have hit the nail on the head with something i have been saying for over a year, "walmart is no longer ordering the same quantities". S6 is a prime example. For more than 6 months sultan has been selling those figures with no end in sight. So someone else (multiple people) have to pick up the slack to meet the factory quota this is why we may also see retros arriving at retail since they are underperforming at creations. Walmart knows they are no longer walmart exclusives as they are not buying 100% of the stock anymore. Im glad people are waking up the facts.

Just missing hogan' fell asleep during the bidding process of the only one that has surfaced to date. Hopefully i get a 2nd chance. He was not available for autos at wrestlemania on sunday

I've seen Kurt 4-5 times (at different stores). He sure seems like the shelf-warmer of the set, which I wouldn't have expected. I have not seen the other two from this series yet. I'd like to pick up a Boss Man.
