The Natural Disasters Earthquake has different legs and different heads. Are we sure this is interchangeable and not a chase version maybe? Only reason I ask is because none of the Superstars have come with anything interchangeable so far, so idk why this one would. I think it would be cool if they made chase figures for this line. Sorry if this has been asked before, but could you clarify about the upcoming Superstsrs earthquake and typhoon? Earthquake is shown with a ND singlet render and angry scan with teeth but also a blue singles singlet and no teeth shown. Are we getting both? Or a two in one ? I’m assuming typhoon does comes with the cloth singlet? There’s just one version of Earthquake and Typhoon. Each have soft goods Natural Disasters era singlets. Earthquake has blue singlet deco underneath. |

In the Motu Origins line, certain figures come with a little more accessories and a bump in price as a deluxe. Maybe Earthquake is a deluxe in this line...?

If they were pairing Quake with two pairs of boots, why wasn't Typhoon made with white/red interchangeable boots, a soft goods pants/shirt all in one combo to make Tugboat? Seems like such an obvious wasted opportunity, and adds some consistency to the series.
Instead we get a bizarre "Fred Ottman in Black Undies" release...

For us Superstar Series fans, can you clear up our Earthquake question. Will he come with swappable boots and heads? The boots and heads are different between the Natural Disasters Earthquake and Blue Attire Earthquake. At least from the images we've seen thus far

So Earthquake is going to be the first swappable boots in the line. This paves the way for getting multiple attires in future releases with other wrestlers.

I was thinking, maybe it's because his character's name is different, Typhoon / Tugboat, whereas Earthquake's name is the same. Hopefully we'll get a Tugboat in the line soon - maybe he'll be in the next wave with Earthquake... Just because Earthquake is a 2 in 1 it doesn’t mean Typhoon has to be as well. He’s fine with just the one look. People are acting like Mattel is short changing them. It’s a solid figure just like every other figure in the line that aren’t 2 in 1.

Now that we know that Earthquake has interchangeable boots I'm guessing he will come packaged in his Natural Disasters look with the blue boots elsewhere in the package. Then for those that want the singles run look you can just remove the singlet and kneepads then swap the boots. I think this is an awesome idea and could easily see them go this route with future figures when appropriate.

I love walking into a Walmart and seeing Series 3 in a reasonable amount sitting on the pegs. Hopefully they've sorted out the distribution problems.
Series 1 wasn't bad, Series 2 has been all over the place with inconsistency, but Series 3 seems to be more normal
I hope this line thrives because its awesome

Grabbed Mankind and Shango today. Only 1 of each and they just came in . I’m happy my Walmart is getting these , but the line is so random with figures showing up. Taker and Dibiase showed up weeks before Mankind and Shango I really hope HBK and Nash get sent to stores . I only need them two until series 4 now Also I’ve only seen 1 Warrior , 1 Hulk , 1 Honky and tons of Flairs and Brays If anyone is looking for Nash, Hall and Michaels they are available online from Walmart Canada. I'd see if you can find some Canadian members who could ship them over. |
