Always knew that Scott Hall never competed in a RR. Another big name never to compete in RR is Ricky Steamboat. Ricky couldn't have been in a rumble as he was never in wwf in Jan once they started apart from 88 when he faced rude in a singles match? He was gone long before the 89 rumble and wasn't around for the ones in 91 or 92 but would have been cool to see him and flair in 92

I remember years ago someone saying there were only 4 guys in the 95 Rumble with star power-HBK, Bulldog, Lex and Owen or Backlund. With adding some of the guys on the undercard I wonder what would have happened since apparently it was time constraints that made the intervals so short. As a kid I liked seeing all those gimmick guys on a PPV but looking back now, it was pretty awful. It's like some indy version of a Rumble. Can’t believe someone would ignore the star power of “Redneck” Dick Murdoch. 4 year old me thought he was the instant winner the moment he came out.

Can’t believe someone would ignore the star power of “Redneck” Dick Murdoch. 4 year old me thought he was the instant winner the moment he came out. I never knew why he was even in there until Bruce Prichard said something about either a favor to Scott Hall or wanting Dick to work with Scott Hall and apparently Dick made a few brief appearances. WWF wasn't in the nostalgia mode like they are now with the Rumble spots so I don't think Dick got much of a reaction. He wasn't exactly a WWF guy either. He was gone from WWF not long after the first Wrestlemania, if not sooner. He was on one Coliseum Video and I think that was it. His spot should have gone to a Virgil or Mike Sharpe or even Brooklyn Brawler-guys who were around a while and toiled on the lower card.
