Bill just posted this on Instagram a few minutes ago, and I thought it was really cool: https://www.instagram.com/p/CYrf5FQpkKu Between the detachable sleeves on Kairi Sane (and maybe Sasha Banks?) before this, to the pull down straps on the RSC Undertaker coming up, it seems like Mattel is really getting creative trying to push the envelope with some of these figures' accessories.

Looks good. It's a pity we never got that material for the Sting jackets. Those are horrible.

I still prefer the interchange arms, but for non-Ultimate figures this is much better than the unmoving alternative.

Based Magic introducing PVC jackets on Darby Allin
This might be the best elite in years, itโs a shame we didnโt have this and other good features like removable heads and hands at the start
Like Crush said, articulated arms like we get with Ultimates will always be superior, but this is a decent substitute for elites

I like it. I understand soft goods aren't always the affordable option and making a jacket with this detail/texture wouldn't be easy. At least they're doing something to help collectors out by adding some sort of functionality.
I do worry, though, how fast this plastic could get worn down. A lot like that new RSE Undertaker with the pull-down straps-- I don't know how the plastic will hold up after awhile.
Not a real concern for me as I don't really play with my figures much. I would get them in one position and they'd stay in that position for awhile. But for someone who is expecting to move the elbows a lot on this figure or remove the straps often on the Taker figure-- I don't know how durable it'll be.
Great addition regardless.

Looks good. It's a pity we never got that material for the Sting jackets. Those are horrible. We need it for Mizโs jackets, too. His jackets suck besides the details.

Looks good. Way better than the unmovable, impossible to get off rubber jackets that we got with Sasha Banks, for example.
It's a shame that it doesn't look like they're gonna fix the color of red used on his tights and kickpads. It should be a much brighter shade than that.

That's a nice surprise, but why does he have a flesh colored joint on his fully gloved hand, though?

I worry about the softer plastic goods, because Jakks had similar and those get oily over time

That will create some awesome poses. This soft plastic/cloth looking material will definitely be a good change.

They shouldโve done this from the get-go. There are so many awesome figures that will forever have hunched shoulder/straight arm poses. Better late than never I guess.

Canโt help but think if they nailed soft goods it would make things si much easier
I donโt know why mattel, jakks, jazwares etc etc have failed to pull off really good soft goods on wrestling figures.
In fact action figures as a whole and soft goods seem much harder to pul off than dolls. barbie etc have had soft goods for forever and they look great so I donโt know if itโs the form / size of the action figure v doll?

Material might be an issue, too, since most wrestling soft goods are trying to emulate leather or a really ornate fabric design like ring robes often use. T-shirts tend to look the best. And Barbie's probably got a much higher budget for soft goods than something like this, since even wrestling figures can't compete with a doll line for reusing bodies.
Love this jacket, although I echo concerns about the longevity of this plastic. Still, I'd love to see a Finn Balor jacket like this.

Looks brilliant, I will be buying. It makes you slightly annoyed though that it's taken 12 years for this, but if they start doing it going forward I won't be complaining.

Sizing scale issue IMO. Beyond tee shirts, there are very few soft goods at the exiting figure scale that look truly good/detailed and fit correctly IMO.
