Should Elites start evolving into Ultimates, in terms of articulation? Maybe with less accessories though.

As long as they donβt have the ugly torsos and ridiculous prices that would be great

As long as they donβt have the ugly torsos and ridiculous prices that would be great The torso's with the butterflly joints are the main differences! Otherwise it's just an elite.

im not sure itll happen. but AEW line is basically a UE and at normal cost without the extras. id gladly get rid of the hands and possibly the extra 2 heads for it to happen.

Price wise, aren't they already?
Still prefer the ab crunch and the standard shoulders to the swivel and butterfly joints. So no.

No because we'd either see a huge drop in quality - which is already somewhat sketchy in the UE line.
Or all Elites will go up $5 or more in price and I'm already not spending $12 on clearance Elites.

NO. If Elites started using butterfly joints and the ultimate torso, Iβd just stop buying WWE figures. I get that a lot of people like them, but theyβre just ugly to me. On all kinds of figures, not just wrestling.

They already added double elbows to Elites anything else would raise the prices of elites and or make the UE obsolete. So no.

I'd be fine to just have butterfly shoulder joints added.

I know where this is heading. Most people don't like change.

I know where this is heading. Most people don't like change. Some changes are good. Like interchangeable parts and double jointed elbows are awesome but going to those ugly ass torsos would be horrible imo

I love how we only get like 8 Ultimates a year. Makes it easier to collect. So no.

The UE torso's aren't too bad - but the butterfly/shoulder joints don't look great... the recent UE Jeff Hardy and upcoming UE Batista being prime examples.
Personally, I would have had standard Elite articulation on UEs from the start (...the in-demand figures and extra heads and accessories etc. sell the line). I don't really like having new articulation 10 years into the line, when all the other Elites are the same.
(... I'd probably get rid of True FX too though, so what do I know... π)

I wouldnβt mind new, debuting torsos to be ball jointed torsos like the AEW line/womenβs Elites.
Love the playability of the UE wings, but I hate it when they break up chest/back tattoos like modern Rock.

No Ultimates have ugly torsos & at times the price difference isnβt really justified.

Nope, keep them as is. Iβll probably be in the minority, but I sort of donβt like the way the small double jointed arms look on elites. They look too elongated and the worst part is with these painless pegs is that you cannot swap them or fix them if they get loose.

Not if that increases the price.

Butterfly joints are a must in a toy wrestling figure weather you like the look or not.
It's one of those necessary evils.
I personally like the added articulation they provide.
Torso is hit and miss.
Toe articulation however, can gtfoh.
