Two questions Is the Kane that matches this the Basic SummerSlam one from this past year? And I didn’t really watch much during the days when WCW merged with WWE. Are these belts different than the previous WCW tag belts? And if so. Who do we have in Mattel form thar held these belts? Yes - the tag belts are different. The previous ones were the older versions: while the one taker has is the newer/final version: As for who held the later ones: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WCW_World_Tag_Team_ChampionsEverybody from Sting/The Giant onwards - but then again they could release them with any previous champions, ALA Cactus Jack and the ECW tag title he comes with.

Isn't this version of the wcw tag team belts from 1997-1998 and not the 1998-2001 version ?.

Easy pass for me. Super plain figure for an exclusive and I’m not a big fan of that era of Taker.

I’ll order 2 this week basically for the WCW Tag belts.

Such a boring looking Taker. It’s to much to ask for at least a SG tank top or beanie. $30 for just a WCW tag belt is expensive.

This really needed a proper head scan because it’s otherwise quite boring and the materiality of rubber almost guarantees in a few years time it will rip, release it’s oils or just naturally deteriorate.
I’m quite tired of Mattel reusing taker scans and old ones at that with next to no modification to make them time appropriate. This looks silly because the head is just wrong so it looks like modern taker in cosplay. Inaccuracies with the wcw title belts turned me off purchasing it.
Without doing a proper head scan to differentiate it, they should’ve just done Kane (who there is way more demand and room for improvement). Otherwise leave this era of taker to be ultimate alongside a Kane when it can have more interesting inclusions like the over shirt etc and both tag belts wwf/wcw. If I was doing it, I’d put this taker and Kane in an ultimate line up and give them one wcw and one wwf each.

Great opportunity to release those WCW titles. (Even though it's 1)
Another missed opportunity to release Judgement Day 2000.

OK so this is the one Taker held: which is the larger main plate: The other version from pre 98 has the smaller plates: The figure looks to more like the original version:

Yet another rsc exclusive single figure with a single tag title with a premium price tag, that has no premium features other than the card with the big SS.
Yall need stop doing these single tag title exclusives. Is it gonna hurt to include 2 titles?
I mean come on, HOF yoko used A LOT of plastic AND came with 2 tag titles.
No excuse.
I'm not biting.

I asked for the Summerslam logo to be on it, so I guess I got what i asked for. Looks great, I think it looks a lot better in the new pictures as opposed to the couple we'd seen. It's a buy for me I'd say.

I know it is a summerslam figure because of the title, but isn’t it also a Wrestlemania 17 version of Taker? Well to us loose collectors, or is there a detail on his pants or his hair or something that disqualifies the figure?

It’s early-February and still waiting on this. Crazy since E91, E92, and UE12 came in early.

He looks good but he’s a little disappointing for an RSC Exclusive. Having two WCW Tag belts would have been better unless Mattel plans on releasing a matching Kane with one. Didn’t keep me from buying two though lol Also love the way he is packaged with the title A matching Kane would be sweet Have we not had that Kane... or one very close?

A matching Kane would be sweet Have we not had that Kane... or one very close? We did. It was also a ringside exclusive and missed the mark imo. It needs to be redone as an Ultimate Edition. We’re talking sculpted details like mesh, the arms from the ultimate, a new tank top, the laceless boots and two new headsculpts.

The figure does represent WrestleMania X7 Undertaker great since that's the exact attire he wore at the event.👍

I also don't understand why Mattel didn't use gloss black since his pants weren't dull black during that era.
