A stat that never gets brought up when they do the Royal Rumble by the numbers video every year is how Stone Cold lasted over an hour and 57 minutes in 3 consecutive Royal Rumble matches without being eliminated. Won back to back in 97 & 98 lasting 45:07 and 15:58 respectfully. Then was the first entrant in 99 and was last to be eliminated lasting 56:38. There’s no one that’s lasted that long in consecutive Rumbles without getting thrown out.

They should have a mention of how the Warlord for being as big and massive as he was, had one weakness in the Royal Rumble.... Hulk Hogan.
I believe it was 1989, 1991 and 1992 where Hogan had eliminated the Warlord. The 1989 one was like 2 seconds. Impressive really!

Umm…Curtis Axel lasted a whole year before he was eliminated. I don’t think any Royal Rumble numbers compare to that.   |
