Rank each Wrestlemania main event based on personal enjoyment. For main event, I’m talking about the last match of the night. So for example, Hogan vs Yokozuna was sadly the main event of 9. Also counting each night of two night Manias. No need for arguing or debating, just list your favorites.
Wrestlemania 30: Bryan vs Orton vs Batista Wrestlemania 17: Austin vs Rock Wrestlemania 26: HBK vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 31: Roman vs Rollins vs Brock Wrestlemania 37 Night 1: Bianca vs Sasha Wrestlemania 14: HBK vs Austin Wrestlemania 37 Night 2: Bryan vs Roman vs Edge Wrestlemania 19: Brock vs Angle Wrestlemania 24: Edge vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 35: Becky vs Charlotte vs Ronda Wrestlemania 28: Cena vs Rock Wrestlemania 20: HHH vs HBK vs Benoit Wrestlemania 12: HBK vs Bret Wrestlemania 3: Hogan vs Andre Wrestlemania 23: HBK vs Cena Wrestlemania 5: Hogan vs Savage Wrestlemania 21: HHH vs Batista Wrestlemania 36 Night 1: Styles vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 22: HHH vs Cena Wrestlemania 15: Austin vs Rock Wrestlemania 6: Hogan vs Warrior Wrestlemania 4: Savage vs Dibiase Wrestlemania 36 Night 2: Brock vs Drew Wrestlemania 34: Brock vs Roman Wrestlemania 32: HHH vs Roman Wrestlemania 33: Undertaker vs Roman Wrestlemania 29: Cena vs Rock Wrestlemania 25: HHH vs Orton Wrestlemania 18: HHH vs Jericho Wrestlemania 16: HHH vs Rock vs Foley vs Show Wrestlemania 10: Bret vs Yokozuna Wrestlemania 2: Hogan vs Bundy Wrestlemania 27: Cena vs Miz Wrestlemania 1: Hogan/Mr T vs Piper/Ordnorff Wrestlemania 11: Bam Bam vs LT Wrestlemania 13: Undertaker vs Sid Wrestlemania 7: Hogan vs Slaughter Wrestlemania 8: Hogan vs Sid Wrestlemania 9: Hogan vs Yokozuna

I just went with top 10 to keep things simple
1) Wrestlemania 30: Bryan vs Orton vs Batista
It just felt like the moment that was never supposed to happen. It was one of the only times where it felt like WWE was at the true mercy of its fans and the right decision was made. Pretty much everything about that night was perfect with the exception of the Streak ending. Just had that suspension of belief type feel during that entire main event.
2)Wrestlemania 5: Hogan vs Savage
Best story leading into a Wrestlemania Main Event for me. Two absolute icons. Im saddened that when I started watching wrestling Macho was having injury issues and basically wrapping up his career. I think I would have been a huge Macho fan in the moment.
3) Wrestlemania 17: Austin vs Rock
Arguably the greatest Mania and the two most popular superstars of all time Out of their trilogy, Mania 15 felt like the introduction where Rock was still coming in to his own, Mania 19 felt like a bittersweet goodbye due to Austin's injuries. Mania 17 was the best of their trilogy.
4) Wrestlemania 28: Cena vs Rock
Few times can you give something such a lead up and actually have it produce in full. Everything about the match was perfect — star power, entertainment, wrestling, storytelling, and its even crazier to think since their rematch at Mania 29 one year later was an absolute trainwreck.
5) Wrestlemania 26: HBK vs Undertaker
I still rank their Mania 25 match higher than this one but hard to not put a Taker/HBK match on the list.
6) Wrestlemania 6: Hogan vs Warrior
Absolute star power and possibly the first time I can remember a good guy vs. good guy main event in the Kayfabe era. Certainly a unique main event, looking back now it seems crazy to say that Hogan and Warrior put on a decently lengthed match.
7) Wrestlemania 23: HBK vs Cena
I remember being confused as to why this was going on last on the show. At the time I definitely felt like Taker/Batista should have been the main event. But im glad they did it the way they did. Absolutely phenomenal performance. True testament to HBK, who dragged the match of Cena's career out of him up to that point.
8) Wrestlemania 3: Hogan vs Andre
The match that I think really defined what Wrestlemania was, even more so than any appearances by Mr. T or Muhammed Ali. If Hogan doesn't slam Andre, I dont know if Wrestlemania still exists today.
9) Wrestlemania 14: HBK vs Austin
The biggest pivotal moment in the wrestling industry. JR with the perfect call "The Austin Era Has Begun". Truly sparked one of the biggest revolutions in wrestling.
10) Wrestlemania 24: Edge vs Undertaker
This was the match to me where Edge truly made it feel like he belonged in the main event. He was always the guy that had a great performance but from the promo Edge cut before the match about being a kid in the crowd at Wrestlemania 6, to the story to the match itself. Was again everything a Wrestlemania main event should be.
HONORABLE MENTION) Wrestlemania 37 Night 1: Bianca vs Sasha
Arguably the only match on this list that's not a main event (looking at you, you nothing but fun loving forum posters...) As much as Ronda Rousey did for WWE women to headline Wrestlemania and everything that Becky did for it after. I feel like these two came out and cemented that it didn't take outside celebrities and what not. Two women on the every day roster could perform at just a high a level as the guys on the biggest day of the year for WWE and be accepted because of the performance they delivered. Too bad someone gave Michael Cole a headset to call the finish, the only downside of that match for me.

Wow, this is tough cause there are so many Wrestlemania shows. I can honestly say that at one time, Wrestlemania XX with Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H would have been my number one. But that changed in June of 2007. But being I was at Wrestlemania 23 and that was the only Wrestlemania I ever was at live, I will pick John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels as my number 1.
By the way, CM Tusk the Diesel vs. HBK match at Wrestlemania 11 wasn't the main event. For Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow went on last that night as the actual main event match.

I legit just erased that match from my mind I guess. I’ll edit.

Out of personal enjoyment... probably WM 31 with Seth cashing in.
Then there would be WM 19, WM 28, WM 20, WM 30.

No way I could do every WrestleMania as to be honest with you I would struggle to tell you what the last five to ten were! So I am doing a top five which was way harder than I thought it would be. I would actually have a much easier time doing my top ten WrestleMania matches than main events. Truth be told more often than not the WrestleMania main event is not even close to being the best match on the card in my opinion.
1: WrestleMania 17 Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock 2: WrestleMania 6 Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior 3: WrestleMania 5 Hulk Hogan vs Macho Man Randy Savage 4: Wrestlemania 8 Macho Man Randy Savage vs Ric Flair 5: WrestleMania 14 Shawn Michaels vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

I’ll do top 5 and bottom 5…
Top 5
1. Austin vs Rock WM17: The only other WM main events to match the star power here were Hogan/Andre, Hogan/Savage, and Hogan/Warrior IMO. Two megastars at the peak of their wrestling popularity going at it at what’s considered by many to be the greatest WM of all time.
2. HHH vs HBK vs Benoit WM20: The best triple threat match of all time IMO. The story flowed perfectly and Benoit winning over two of the most egotistical performers ever was the icing on the cake.
3. Hogan vs Savage WM5: Few storylines match the build going into this one. Savage finally stepping out from Hulk’s shadow was a near year-long build in the making, and the match was one of Hogan’s better in-ring wise as well during the “Hulkamania” era.
4. Brock vs Angle WM19: Great technical wrestling from two of the best ever, and it was a clean finish as well. The botched shooting star press does not take away from this at all. Angle helped elevate Brock from “the next big thing” to “the thing” in this match, and it’s something the WWE clearly tried to do multiple times with Brock/Roman (with Brock in Angle’s role) but to far less success.
5. Bret Hart vs HBK WM12: Yeah, I get a lot of people not enjoying this one. It was two guys refusing to job to each other, so we get large-chunks of the match that seem to drag. But I loved watching this as a kid, and still love it today. Two of the best in-ring performers going at it for an hour before “finisher-fests” became common place in the WWE. The match had great storytelling and left us wanting more after the controversial overtime decision. I also love that thing one doesn’t spam finishes like most other Iron Man matches where the match ends with some score like 6-5.
Bottom 5
1. John Cena vs The Miz WM27: You had the face of the company going against a glorified midcarder in a match that was only used to build towards next years WM main event. Nothing redeeming about this match IMO.
2. Roman vs HHH WM32: I have honestly never been more bored with a WM main event than this one. After a show that dragged on for far too long, we got a 20+ minute match with a guy the fans absolutely hated yet were expected to accept as the next face of the company. It was a slow bout with the finish never in question.
3. Hogan vs Sid WM8: Similar to Cena/Miz, this match served no purpose but to build excitement for Warrior’s return. Slow-slog of a match that bored me. Only redeeming factor for me is Sid kicking out of the leg drop (due to a timing botch) and Warrior’s return.
4. Roman vs Taker WM33: Another horrible match designed to get Roman over with fans (which also failed miserably). Unlike Roman/HHH which was a bore fest, this was slightly more entertaining due to how many botches happened throughout the match. Only reason it’s not lower is due to the cool Taker-visuals at the end.
5. Roman vs Brock WM34: Another Roman match, but for good reason. For a year they built the F5 as the ultimate finisher that nobody could kick out of one. We all knew Roman would kick out of one, probably two on his way to another victory. Yet we saw him kick out of five…five finishers that nobody else could kick out of once. And on top of it, Vince changed his mind and has Brock win, dragged out the “Roman against the odds” story for another 6 months.

I would have been so mad if I spent mega bucks to go to Mania 27 just to basically use the event to build to Mania 28.

I’ll stick with Top 5 since I started watching in 2001.
Gotta start with Austin/Rock as number 1, it was a huge deal for me and still is after all these years.
Number 2 is Benoit/HHH/Michaels. I was so into this one, I couldn’t wait to see Benoit as world champion and the match itself is a masterpiece so it stays on the list. Number 3 - Daniel Bryan/Orton/Batista. There’s not really any more I can say about this one. One of the mania matches in recent memory that really felt like a big deal!
Number 4 - Batista/HHH at 21. I watched this one live, and I loved it. Seeing both Batista and Cena winning world titles that night I knew was a huge thing, and here we are.
Number 5 - Edge/Undertaker. This was the first time for me seeing Undertaker in the main event of Wrestlemania, and I was a huge edge fan too so I was really excited to see this match and it lived up to the hype for me.
Can’t really say there’s been that many terrible matches, but Cena/Miz is a raw main event at best for me (sorry Miz), so I couldn’t have cared less about that one.
