Im storing my MOC UE & Basic 100 in a non temperature controlled attic of an indoor garage (not an active, meaning no car enters inside, used as a tools storage by our landlord). Is it safe to store them in a large gray container from target w/ silicone packs inside the bin? Im worried about figure discoloration. I also kept my recent NXT WAR GAMES set on its shipping box as well as MOTWWEU basic ring & AEW Cody exclusive ring in a separate box.
Thank you in advance for the advice.
Keeping them away from my wife’s sight, who is into minimalism, will keep her sane and lessen his stress toward me & my collection.🤦🏻♂️

I would never store anything in an attic, especially collectibles and figures. The attic should be more connected to the outside than the inside of your house. There’s ventilation up there that is directly open to the outside.

I wouldn't leave any collectible in a place that's not air conditioned.

As long as it doesn't get either extremely hot or extremely cold, then you should be OK. But make sure no sunlight/natural daylight can get in... that can be a killer.

You should put your foot down and at least have your own man cave room. What's the point of buying and collecting if you have to run off to an attic?

The only way it’s ok not to have venting is if you have the roof deck spray foamed.

I wish I have the real estate, next big boy purchase should be a house w/ extra room for my collections to be displayed! My wife is also trying to minimize everything including my collection of action figures & pro wrestling tees!🤦🏻♂️

I have stored all my carded figures in boxes in the attic. Some over 20 years. The cards still look great. Keep it sealed and out of direct sunlight and in my experience you will be fine.
