Ofc noone knows for certain, but i’m debating on getting the Legend 8 Elite for $30 on the site since Eddie was one of my favorites. Don’t wanna miss out on a figure of him but the price is close to a UE. What yall think? Grab it now or wait it out for a UE?

Especially with the UE Legends sub-line on the way, I think we're almost guaranteed to see an Eddie show up.

I’d say get the Legends figure. If a UE one comes out, the Legends will still be worth at least $15 so you can sell it on.

Why not? Eddie was a great performer and always had cool attires. I just wish Mattel would be more consistent with his skin tone and use the lighter tone from his hall of fame figure. That and use a better finish for their gold. They use this cheap dull gold that leans towards bronze. Jakks got the boots right. I’d like either grey or like green tights. Early 2000’s Eddie would be cool too with his mullet.

Give me WM20 or No Way Out 2004 gear. With that Scarface-Esque shirt. I don’t know if it’s in the pipeline but it’s definitely possible. I am very pleased with the legends figure that recently came out. It’s damn near perfect.

I could definitely see Eddie getting an Ultimate sooner rather than later. That said, I wouldn’t sleep on the Legends Eddie. One of the best Mattels of recent years.

If we do get an Ultimate Eddie, it either has to be a Legends 6 Re-Release or a slightly different version of the Legends 8. I would be open to a 2002 Mullet IC Champion Eddie, but honestly I'm happy with the Legends 8.

I'd like to see him in these tights (which he also wore in 2003 and 2004), and with this head, a Los Guerreros short haired head, and a 2004 head (perhaps the Legends 6 with True FX).  |

Should he? Yes. Will he? Unknown since Mattel seems allergic to making figures of him. Granted that could also be because he's the poster child for the Ruthless Aggression era and they really don't like making figures from that era.

Also, he needs to be less tanned than his previous Legends figure, which was way too dark. His Hall of Champions skin tone was about right.
