A few people may say that last nights men’s Rumble was the worst that they’d seen but looking back I wouldn’t call it the number one worst of em all. It’s easily up there with 2012,2014,2015 but those Rumbles are just a league of their own lol.
At least last nights match had a good & logical winner in Lesnar and I’ve personally wanted him to win another Rumble for years now. The match lacked surprises, star power & excitement but it still had a few ok spots. Overall it was still trash.
So what’s you guys thoughts on the worst Royal Rumble matches?

For me personally, like Rumbles that don't suit my taste, 1995, 1996, 2021, 2015 are my least favorites and the ones that don't make my Rumble re-watches every January.

The three you mentioned and 1993 have to be the worst right? I mean 93 had no one in the match except for Yoko, Macho, and Taker.

I watched all Rumbles from 88-09(I stopped watching after WM 25) and to me the worst is... 95 being a close 2nd

2010 2011 1995 2017
Those IMO were the worst ever Rumbles.

For me it is 1995, very little star power in this one. But the thing that hurt it the most was the 1-minute intervals. But to be fair to 1995, I haven't seen a lot of Royal Rumble matches over the last 15 years.

The Rumble doesn’t feel the same anymore. As an old-school fan I liked when they felt more organic, fewer wacky spots, and less instances of people just filling spots and getting eliminated within a minute or two. Both of last nights marches were particularly guilty of this.
I thought the Botox Bowl was the worse of the two offenders, but I’d say the men’s Rumble was in my bottom 5 ever. It was good to see Drew back and healthy, but that was really all that stood out. Bottom 5 for me would probably be 2014, 2015, 2021 (largely because of that godawful Thunderdome), this year, and 1995

Austin should have won again or at least it should have been Austin & McMahon as both the winners just like Bret/Luger in 94. The Rock should have thrown out both Austin & McMahon by accident or something lol.

I mean the blowback is easily disproportionate about almost all of them. Ironically, they make the Rumbles they're about better. The Rumble I liked the least though was Hart/Luger. Granted, it was cool to see that happen once, but they should have saved that in the event of something like Cena/Batista happening.

from ones I've watched in their entirety, ADR was the worst. The icing on the cake being I was always pushing for more rumble candidates, 40 even 50 or 60 but wow that went to crap so quick. WITH all the extra returns and cameos no less. What a waste. I'm not saying they shouldn't follow the story they have planned but sometimes on occasion you can find another way to arrive at the same result while also giving the viewers (who tune in to see the storyline hero beat the villain... eventually) what they want. There are other mutants out there like me who root for the heel instead but we are more often than not the minority. For those reasons I have to put ADR's rumble win over Brocks 2022 win.

To be frank, Beth Phoenix eliminating Khali and things of that nature aren't really for me either.

Just very very bleak and flat. After a Amazing Rumble in 20; Pretty good in 21. This is just flat. The best streak of Rumbles was like 03-09 where the Rumble brought something to it every year. Lighting can't strike every year. But; I think we all knew who was winning. Predictable doesn't mean bad. As a Edge mark; his win last year did feel little manafactured but I enjoyed it.
I think Brock winning; was who all know who would win. Honestly; who else would of won? I will say Roman-Brock this time around is a lot better of feud and dynamic then they had years back. I think they're program going into WM 34 could of been great if we got a great match; that told full circle story of the rivalry. The story was there; Roman Reigns at the start of his run to top clashed with Brock; and Brock overwhelmed him. Which the story wrote itself; with Roman matured 3 years down the road. But; it just fell flat.
I think WWE finally got it right; and with the shifts in characters it's worked. Do I want to see it main event a WrestleMania a third time; no. Do I understand why; were rolling with this; yes. The Rock isn't going to work WM 35. Simple. Who else can we build up and that has story with Roman. Maybe Rollins if more work was done; sure. But; Brock has the natural story. Maybe Drew Mcintyre if WWE hasn't ruined his booking literally since WM 37. Now should it be the headlining match of Night 2; NO. But, what is going to top that match? ...Nothing.
The roster is so paper thin and trash. Roman-Brock is going to be the biggest match on the card. And I don't think WWE can yield anything better. Bobby is good champion; but he literally doesn't have much to work with. Big E will make a good champion; but he's not ready. And that's okay; but I don't think him reclaiming the gold at Mania is his time. I think our best best is Rollins morphing into a crazy but face star and somehow working his way to getting program with Bobby and going over at Mania. Or Edge gets one last run; going over Bobby.
This Mania literally already feels like it's going to be flat. The star power just isn't going to be there; the booking isn't going to be there.
I think this Rumble was the bigger picture of a very flat Mania season; I hope I am wrong. It's suppose to be Christmas as a Wrestling fan this time of the year. We really had it good heading into last Mania.

I guess people just forgot '93 had Tatanka, Tenryu, and Damien Demento.

I guess everyone forgot that Chris Masters with a blonde mullet won the Rumble in 1994.

Honestly, everyone would be saying Vince tearing both of his quads was the worst if it didn't make for such a memorable moment and everybody knows it.
