OMFG OFISHUL POZT! Umm... No Thx! I just got this figure in the mail as a part of a trade... and its probably my favorite figure ever, so decided to post some pictures, and a review. The one thing I love about this figure is the fact that it is a commemorative piece, commemorating perhaps the greatest moment in the "Great One's" career. As noted on the base, his accumulation of 1851 points on October 15, 1989. This figure is incredibly detailed, and captures the moment precisely. I also got the Gretzky Oilers figure, and a Gerry Cheevers in the deal, I may post pics of those at another time. The detail is incredible. They got his equipment perfect, down to his tucked jersey. This is probably my favorite SportsPick yet. I just hope his Rangers figure will be in this pose:

I am tempted to get it, because he was such a legend. However, I am not a hockey fan. Hmm...maybe later when the cost of buying NFL 10 and ML7 isn't kicking my wallet's ass.

In the real event, he's holding the stick in his left. The figure has it in the right. Some accuracy, Dinan! Very cool figure, though. Probably the only hockey figure I'd ever consider picking up.

Their official picture has the stick in his right hand... And if you play hockey, you know, a left handed shooter holds the stick at the top with their right hand.

You'll porbably be able to find one on clearance in a few weeks/months... they are packed 4 to a case... so they are super common. Plus, rednecks don't like hockey

However, the Atlanta metro area has as many people from New York, LA, Chicago, and other big cities, than it does rednecks. Lots of people have moved here for occupational reasons. But, there are plenty of rednecks in Georgia, that's for sure. EARNHARDT!!!! WOOO!!!!!!

I love the Kings figure. I bought it last week. The legs took so much effort to get in.... did anyone else have that problem? My hands hurt from pushing them in but it was all worth it once he was standing up.

Dude, seeing those picks of the Oilers fig makes me wish I picked it up last week when I saw them at Wal-Mart. They had a whole end cap with a big sign "Legends Gretzky Limit 4 Per Customer". I'm not a big hockey fan, but I loved the Oilers and Gretzky when I was 4.
