I had this idea when I saw my son playing with his color changing lighting McQueen cars. When using hot and cold water these things change instantly and very precisely. Like if you dunk just half the car in the water it changes instantly and has a perfectly straight line from the water. There is no fade in color. I remember having these type cars when I was little but it took a while for them to change and it was never vibrant colors. So, seeing that color changing technology on toys has advanced so much...what is everyone's thoughts on jazzwares or Mattel using this on wrestling figures? My first thought was bloody figures. You could have a normal head scan that could be changed to a bloody scan. And the more water you apply the bloodier or less bloody the face could be. Or even changing gear colors. Thoughts?

Pass. I know it’s 30 years later. But Kenner did that with a Robin from either Batman Forever or Batman and Robin with his mask. And after about 6 months the figure’s face just looked like he had a purplish/grey marker stain on his face. And for an attire it wouldn’t work because the color usually started changing back in a couple minutes. This is what that Robin has looked like for the last 30 years.

Nah this is always a bust. My kid has some color changing Luca toys, and after maybe a month there's just a permanently darkened hue where the color change is supposed to happen.
