Of all the awesome figures we have seen in the past, which type is your favorite? From AWA Remco, to Hasbros, to LJN, to Jakks. Which is your favorite? If you could bring one back, who would you bring back? For me I would definitely say, I would bring back LJN. They are personally all time favorite type of wrestling figure. I always liked the fact that there were very few repaints and they really were an amazing display piece. Either MOC or loose, they still in my opinion look amazing! What do you guys think?

Nostalgia wise, I have to go with TTL. My favorite time as a collector/figure player.

Personally, I'd love some more Galoob.

Hasbros are THE toy of my childhood. So much so they fueled my love of wrestling in general and clearly why my favourite period is 88-94

Same with BCA. Now all I need is some Galoob style and some OSFTM retros.

RA style is what I grew up with, so them and the Classic Superstars line are my favourite of all time. Saying that, I have a BIG love for Hasbro's and as an adult collector experiencing them for really the first time, I'm in love with that style. That's a part of the reason I'm so into Chellas retros, but I've always been a "Classic Superstars guy". Nothing for me will ever top them.

Going into a shop back in the day and seeing Hasbro lined up along the shelf was a truly wonderful sight.
My first Hasbro was Hulk Hogan #1, because they ran out of Warriors. The lady then stopped us as we left the shop with the last Warrior #1 in hand... The "Ultimate" Warrior, literally.
To this day I think it was all planned, but who knows? One of the best birthdays ever, though.

Ive had and collected everything from remcos, galoob, osftm, charapro, jakks, hasbro, mattel, toybiz and nothing will ever compare to the hours of fun and play i had as a kid with my ljns. I had a blast with hasbros, but my go to and most memories come from ljns.

Jakks RA for me, closely followed by TTL as those were what I grew up on.

I was born in '86 so I just missed out on LJN, although I had one passed down to me from an older brother; Ricky Steamboat, and I still have him although he's a bit battered.

I was in on day one with LJNs. Was collecting from like 84 to about 88.
Would I want them to come back? If it was straight up reissues of the original figures, I'd prefer if they were scaled down so that the figures were around 6 inches. For figures done at their actual size, I'd want guys that they didnt make during the original 80s run like Bravo, Butch Reed, Smash, v2 Hercules, etc. Or even guys from that time period that were in other companies...Flair,Road Warriors, Von Erichs, etc.

I think a lot of people of of any age on here where they either first collected, played or can appreciate hasbros.
LJNs are hard to play with AWA didn’t have the distribution
Hasbro got the sweet spot for the time they come out, easy enough to go play with and visually just look good imo

It has to be Hasbro for me, I would have been 9 when I got my first Hasbro's at the end of 1990 and by Christmas, I had the first 12! These were my favorite childhood toys by far.
My prime playing years with the WWF Hasbro figures were series 1 through to series 7, the yellow cards. I still purchased the red, dark blue and purple card figures, but I was not playing with them like I was. I played the hell out of those figures. The amount of Ultimate Warrior vs Randy Savage matches I had with the series one figures was just insane! Shawn Michaels and Crush were the last two figures that I played with a ton and would do big storylines and so on around.
I did also dabble with the WCW Galoobs as well, these were very easy to find here in the UK and I much preferred the Galoob Ring to the Hasbro one. I also had a full set of the LJN Bendies thanks to more than a few discount stores carrying them here in the UK in the early 90s. While those were great, they never came close to getting the same amount of playtime that my Hasbros did.

Went with Hasbro out of the choices given, but I'd really have to say WCW Toybiz. I remember finding those for the first time and just thinking they were the coolest wrestling figures I'd ever seen. I bought pretty much the full first wave that day, and I was a junior in high school who hadn't bought wrestling toys in years.

LJNs are hard to play with AWA didn’t have the distribution LJN...depends on the wrestler I guess. Orndorff, Snuka, Orton and a couple of others were really tough to do anything with. But guys like Hogan,Studd and Andre were in basic poses that were good enough to play matches with. Keeping in mind too, that matches in mid-80s US wrestling still consisted of relatively basic moves. And guys like were Valentine and Kirchner were actually a lot of fun to play with because of the poses they were in. AWA/Remco...distribution seemed ok to me here in NYC but I suppose that varied depending on the region. I remember TRU carrying them but I really remember them being plentiful at K-Marts and Kresgees(sp).

LJN all day everday.
I had no struggles playing with any of them. They were all capable of drop kicks and cross body takedowns. Of course just beating them like hammers and nails also worked. But yes, some were definitely not made for in ring action... but we definitely didn't stop trying.
