Could this be a venue for them showing the Acolytes elites?
Here’s to manifesting it. I’m calling my shot!
Let’s see a Gladiator Faarooq and a Justin Hawk Bradshaw while we’re at it what the hell

I just want the acolytes. Everyone has been asking for those figures. It gets annoying when we want popular looks by Mattel and they don’t get to it and bam! X superstar gets released.

Ron Simmons/JBL seem like the type to make fun of adults collecting toys (like Scott Steiner). I doubt they will be showing off figs, but would be happy if they did.

Would love to finally see Acolytes, especially if it makes up for the botched APA (still great accessories).

Rather they make fun of them or not, if they’re asked to do it and they get a % of the sales, why wouldn’t you? And of course they’re not going to anyway, but it won’t be because they think adults shouldn’t collect toys, I mean at some extent all adults collect or have some toy in any kind of collection.

Other than special events (Comic Con, WM weekend, RSC Fest), how often has WWE or Mattel involve Legends to promote the WWE line? And when they do, it usually involves people that have some interest in the line. If you want to sell/promote something, you want somebody that is believable. My personal opinion is that JBL and Ron Simmons don't fit into that category. Speaking of, I also don't see them paying JBL/Simmons additional % of sales to promote figures that are months away from preorder or shipping, especially when the line is doing great. I do agree though that most people put aside their personal feelings for $ (like Scott Steiner). Reading the recap of the Bump, their appearance seemed pretty uneventful and I didn't see any mention of action figures.

If they are in Legends 15, they won't go up for preorder for about 2.5 months and won't hit stores until July. It wouldn't help their sales because there isn't anything to buy right now and whatever casuals that happen to watch the bump aren't going to remember to check back in 3 months to buy something. In addition, retailers buy products several months in advance (which is one of the reasons why lineups leak) so Mattel has probably already sold "X" amount of units of Legends 15 to Target. I believe the royalties are based off units sold to the retailers not whether Target sells the product to consumers (meaning JBL/Simmons are most likely getting paid the same amount whether Target sells them or not). If they aren't going to get an extra fee for promoting it by Target, then the only way they are going to get paid extra is if their promotion resulted in more units being produced. With a new series being released every 3 months, that most likely isn't going to happen.

I ain’t gonna act like I know how they get royalties off of what and what % they get because I don’t know and ain’t gonna ramble on like I do.

Ministry of Darkness Acolytes is the only ones I'm after so I can come close to complete the Ministry of Darkness stable. If Mattel is listening let's get Mideon into the line also. 👍
