It’s actually the AJ Lee torso with a newly tooled jacket. Great way of saying she's flat as a board under there~! OK, so Stacy is one of my biggest wants of all time and I'm psyched that we're getting her but...
If there is an AJ Lee Torso under that jacket, how does that work? Because that would mean that the jacket has ample... assets, but the torso doesn't.
Just seems very odd to me.
Still, glad to be getting her, even if she does appear enhanced. Steph is also happening, of course. I'll probably end up buying a bunch of those Stephs for customs. I might buy a bunch of Stacys as well for customs. Outside of that, probably just the X-Pac, the UE Shawn, and the Kane.
Great showing though. Well, except for the Bret. I look at that Bret, it reminds me of the subway bum ghost guy from the Ghost movie.

Stacy was my favorite diva when I started watching in 02/03. This version isn't what my preferred choice would be, but I think it's the first look people think of with her. Very well could be the only elite of her there is, so I plan to pick it up.

I agree with you. Now that we have Ultimates the expectations are higher. I’m afraid that because this has been released three times that it doesn’t have a priority in the ultimate line. As an Ultimate I believe this figure would be nothing, but a beauty. I think all the molded detail could be made in the ultimate line. One masked headscan (this one), the other with the dirty face/hair and a clean shaven head. The accessories included could be a gasoline tank and unique kneepads. I want the 2001 Kane too as a ultimate with molded mesh details. I personally don’t like the new ‘01 basic Kane sculpt. I feel like the mask is off. Totally agree mate. However whoever works in marketing did their job because they managed to get 3 figures out of this one. It would’ve been perfect with UE because you could’ve done a sculpted masked head, then a removable mask with burnt head, then an unmasked one and he used to have dark eyes in the initial unmasked run. Would’ve been perfect for ultimate as all looks could’ve been captured in one. Now I can only hope they do 2001. It’s my favourite Kane ever and without it being sculpted properly and him made to look like a tank, I just don’t expect to see it in an elite line or done properly. I’m begging for them to put the R3 to shame. That basic was ok but again missing the gauntlet, they didn’t even paint the studs on the glove but paint that silly logo he never wore, and the worst thing was the head. The scan is actually ok but the stripes were incomplete and looked so ridiculous and clearly they sculpted the head in black because it was too hard to get red paint on it that didn’t look oddly printed and the eyes looked ridiculous because he didn’t have paint around his eyes to make them look like they weren’t part of the mask. Exactly. The new 2002 Kane works ok as he lost a lot of muscle mass on returning. If they revisit an elite/UE ‘01 Kane then they have to give him a thicker torso and thicker arms, guy was in beast mode then yet his figs like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. |

Man, I really wish I bought that first UE HBK. I have the spotlight HBK, but I really want a 97/98 HBK.
I'd love an elite or UE of his Rumble 97 attire. I wasn't huge on the Bad Blood 97 elite, mainly because the black/grey attire looks so plain.
I'm tempted on this new one though. If I can get it with little effort, I might snag it.

It was posted here based on an Instagram post and then confirmed in that same thread. HBK and Brock are both getting another production run. I think we're all hoping to see the Amazon Rock released again but I wouldn't bet on that one. |

The Kane looks great. As a European (Irish) it still really annoys me just how much of the Mattel product is exclusive to stores that most of the world don't have access to. It's bizarre that most of their best-selling figures are only available in a handful of places. You'd understand it if there was no European market at all, to speak of, but that's not the case at all.

Sure they made both Dudleys, but they never made them from that era. And yes, we have the Hurricane, but I highly doubt we are ever getting the Rosey.
Really, I'm just glad we are getting one. With the two head sculpts for it, the wardrobe being stuff I can cut off, and knowing there is an AJ Lee torso under there, I might be able to customize the other two. Heck, the only reason I never customized any Stacy figures so far is because I could never get ahold of the wrestling attire Jakks figure and none of the other figures are in the proper scale.
Speaking of which, if they mess up the scale on her, I'm gonna be mad. Stacy is already 6 feet tall and you've got her in heels here. If she isn't at least as tall as the Nia Jax figures were, I'll be livid. Don't mess this up, guys. She should be the tallest Mattel Women's figure on my shelf if you scale it right. I've been waiting forever on this figure, don't let me down.

My personal "vintage" Stacy look is just her in a non-wrestling outfit. Like when she was with Test or Scott Steiner. Just a top and a short skirt/short shorts. By the time I began watching I think I just missed her time with the Dudley's.

Honestly, I'm not a huge Stacy fan, and I don't really remember her WCW run at all, but at the same time, it probably makes sense for her first figure as most people seem to know her from that run. If it were me, personally, I'd give her a skimpy black outfit like this one in the pic with Steiner. It looks like both ring gear and manager gear so could pass for either, and the clothes are small enough that throwing a removable denim skirt and Dudley shirt into the box would give you most of her looks from her WWE run and cover the painted-on clothes sufficiently. It'd be a bit generic but would do the job, I'm sure.  |

True, but they have the Hurricanes and the Super Stacy outfit is more generic superhero-esque, whereas the Dudleyville look requires Dudley shirts, logos, and etc. which I’m not sure Mattel would go for without having either Dudley (that we know of) available at this time. |
