same, and it’s the same timeframe as the back order. ridiculous So, I’ve seen numerous times that ringside says they charge a little more because they get things faster than other companies cause they pay more to get them shipped over faster, so if that’s the case why aren’t we refunded the difference when they’re delayed like this? well this is an exclusive so I wouldn’t apply the faster part because they do get normal stuff in faster than retail, plus they blamed it on the shipping carrier anyway

This sucks. It’s going to hold up my AEW UM 4 order. I wonder if they’ll allow me to cancel the Hogan?

I had a feeling since they seem to get most things ahead of their estimated time. Will patiently wait lol!

They should be able to remove the Hogan Yup. Seems like they offered to do that! Thanks. No problem. I actually learned that yesterday seeing if I could add to a pending order. They told me due to staffing shortages they could only cancel an order or remove items

Why would they? It’s an exclusive so they are the only one getting it and it’s not their fault it’s delayed by the carrier used by Mattel. And if it wasn’t an exclusive and it was delayed by a carrier company which are all still being affected by the pandemic. Plus more than likely they would still be getting it first because it still will be sent overnight or air shipping where everyone else would still be getting it shipped to them via cargo ships which would still need to go to the ports and then shipped across county by rail. So RSC would still be getting it earlier than mass retail.

Supply chain and shipping issues have been a common occurrence for the last couple years now. Why are people still acting surprised and getting upset when things are delayed?

I’m not disagreeing with you nor am I saying you’re wrong. But it’s probably more so to do with RSC making you pay for pre orders when you order items and not once it’s shipped to you. People will still complain regardless but if they hadn’t already paid months ago it probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal.

"Ridiculous" is the word being used for a delay on the 6th Hogan figure of the year being delayed when its exclusively available at one (1) online retailer. Give me a break.

I remember a few days ago you acting like Vince wasn’t going anywhere, but we all see how that’s playing out. You don’t always know what you think. And imma end this here cause I ain’t got time for somebody to run to the principle on here

And imma end this here cause I ain’t got time for somebody to run to the principle on here I honestly don’t think I ever said Vince wasn’t going anywhere a few days ago. The closest I can think of was in the “Mattel figures news” (?) thread where someone said they wish Vince would sell the company and then Mattel could make whoever they wanted. And I said no matter what the WWE would still need to approve it, because it’s more on Mattel (Bill’s bosses) that they don’t want to spend money on individual contracts for wrestlers like they did they first time with the Legends line. (Mattel signed Macho, Von Erich's & Warrior if I remember correctly) Because financially it makes more sense for them to have the WWE sign wrestlers to merchandise/legends contracts.

The backorder price is still $30. I could see asking Ringside for a price adjustment if the initial price was more and it arrives at the same time as the backorder (the backorder shipment could also be delayed and just hasn't been updated yet). If you paid the same or less than the back order price, then there isn't anything to adjust. I always assumed exclusives we're more money since there is usually a lower production run (and thus higher production costs) and most retailers want exclusives so they can charge extra. If the product was part of the normal line and delayed due to production issues, RSC would most likely still receive the product faster than other retailers since it's a production issue and isn't an issue with their shipping carrier. Regardless, we purchase their product based off of the price at the time - it doesn't state anywhere on their website that by paying higher prices initially that we are guaranteed to receive it by a certain date or before other retailers. We aren't entitled to price adjustments just because something is delayed. You can reach out to their customer service to see what they can do or cancel if you aren't happy (and probably buy it for a lot less during black Friday/Xmas season).

Idk what they charge extra or anything like that. I’m just going off based on what I was told before a few years ago. They charge more because they overnight stuff to get it faster. If that was a lie, whoever runs RS emails told it. I don’t get on acting like I know how things are ran like some ppl on here, so I don’t speculate, that’s just what I was told.
